“The perfect place to stay in tangalle”

Beautiful location, lots of food options within walking distance, easy to get to tangalle city, by tuk tuk.Ruan was a great host and very helpful

The owner was very helpful with everything, we needed little fridge so he arranged one for us for 6dolars/night, and he and his family was friendly. Accomodation was clear and natural and calm,A/C worked well, hot water in shower also, some ants in cabin but its in nature so you get used to it. Beaches few minutes walking, sunbeds in restaurants for free( in case you drink or eat there something).

Spacious (!) bungalow with beautiful garden. The property is connected with beach. The host and his family are wonderful kind people. Delicious breakfast. Own WiFi router in a bungalow - high speed internet. It’s a stay you can dream off.

Ruwan and his family are lovely people who immediately made us feel welcome. The room was spacious and clean. Location is perfect at the beach with restaurants nearby. Every morning was a nice breakfast with eggs and homemade juice. We loved it here!

Avoid this place! The ouner shouldn't have guests these days because of very high level of water in the river 10 m from the room. That day was very high risk of flood and nobody care. We had to escape during that night and even then pay for that.

Good location, room size big

We highly recommend this beautiful place. It truly feels like home, surrounded by a friendly family and their lovely dogs, peacefully located between the river and the sea. The cabin we booked is small and charming, perfectly adequate for the price. The outdoor seating area on the terrace is inviting. Additionally, there is warm water in the shower and a mosquito net at the bed to sleep safe from insects. They are wonderful people with great values, and staying with them is absolutely worth it. We would have stayed longer if we hadn’t had other plans. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Secluded guesthouse in tangalle with a very kind host and lovely family. Cabin style rooms with good privacy. Comfy bed. Our host was very helpful organising tuk tuks for us.

Everything with Gems Garden was so amazing! Ruwan & Ishani is now our family away from home♥️♥️We have not met more loving and warm people, running this family business. We had the luxury to spend new years and my birthday with them, and they organized the best party! Except for the amazing family who runs it, Gems Garden is so beautiful! Our cabana was big, clean and comfortable and has a lovely porche. It is so close to the beach and loads of restaurants. We really hope to come back soon again♥️

Everything!! The truly lovely place located at the beaitiful seaside, very clean and equipped with everything you need, at a very good price! And the owners....the most friendly couple I met. They helped me with everything, arranging scooter rental, taking me to the bus station, we talked a lot and I felt like home :) Thank you for everything, wish you all the best and I hope to come back !!

Lovely cabana in a quiet place very close to the beach. Good mosquito net. The room was very comfortable and we had a great time staying there. The owners are very welcoming. There is also lots of restaurants nearby. We can definitely recommend staying there!

Gems Garden was an amazing experience from start to finish. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The location is perfect, right by the beach, with stunning views and easy access to everything. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always ready to help. Highly recommend this place especially with the puppies at the beach!!

Beautiful accommodation with very nice hosts. The Gems Garden Guest House is a family business who offers delicious authentic Sri Lankan breakfast and very clean rooms. It's close to the sea with a long natural beach. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.
