“Relaxing, chilled and perfect!”

It was really lovely - spacious and beautiful room, very clean, great hosts, fabulous food, gorgeous pool.

I had wonderful stay. The hosts were very kind, wellcoming and attentive. They also prepared absolutely delicious meals. It´s perfect spot for anyone looking for peace and relaxation. Highly recommended!

What a beautiful place! Great design, huge room with comfortable beds, great swimming pool and garden. It was so relaxing. It's close to a beautiful beach (big waves but there are some spots where you can go into the water). Amazing place if you want a break from everything.

We were warmly welcomed to Blue Skies guest house. The pool area is fantastic to relax and swim and kept exceptionally clean. The breakfasts were delicious and filling. Our room ( Deluxe King) was fantastic. It was so spacious with a comfortable bed and a huge balcony to relax on. Suranga was very helpful and arranged a taxi for our onward travel. We will definitely stay again if we return to Sri Lanka. Highly recommend.

Beautifully located close to the beach and in quiet area of Tangalle. Perfect for a few days of relaxation. Lovely owner that also made us great diner one night. Great place to stay!

“Great stay”

Staff was very helpful, the pool was great and the place was calm. We had a big room with a nice terrace. I was also working remotely from this place so the wifi was fast for even calls.

“Good value, peaceful haven”

We enjoyed a 3 night stay at Blue Skies. It’s in a quiet area but there are a number of restaurants within walking distance as well as a hotel resort which is where you have to walk through to get to the beach. They are fine with this.They also have a bar/restaurant. Lakmal is a cool, friendly guy and we had a few chats. We didn’t have a kettle or fridge in our room though he did offer to provide hot water in the morning if we wanted it. He also explained that at some point the rooms without these would be upgraded. The pool area is spotless and well maintained and an enjoyable place to relax and cool off. Extra towels are provided. All the towels and bedding are good quality and there is air conditioning in the room. The main town/beach area is a couple of miles away and accessible by bus from the main road or tuk tuk

“Ideal spot for a few days chilling out”

Only six rooms and lovely pool. Breakfasts and dinners were excellent. Restaurants and beachside resort just down the road.

We loved everything about this lovely B&B. Spacious room with 2 beds, kettle, fridge and water & tea provided. The whole property is kept very clean, there is always someone tidying round the grounds, and pool area. Such a quiet and chilled place to stay with a great restaurant and lovely food. This is one of the best places we have stayed in Sri Lanka. There is a hotel resort a short walk away where you can also eat. The beach is beautiful with a couple of beach restaurants.

Super friendly people who run this place, very beautiful and relaxing space, walking distance to a stunning beach, they can help arrange day trips of all sorts. We truly enjoyed our stay and can strongly recommend this place to anyone who prefers nature and calm over party beaches.

“Brilliant!”

We had a very relaxing and wholesome stay. Suranga went out of his way to make sure we were well looked after and comfortable. The room was spotless, spacious and cool and 5 minutes walk from a quiet beach where we spotted turtles at sunset. The pool was also great. We had breakfast and dinner there on several occasions, all of which were brilliant. Final recommendation to try out the Ayurveda massage the next road down.
