“Beautiful stay, stunning garden surrounded by nature”

The property is in a serene location, surrounded by nature, with the garden backing onto the lagoon. The room features a large terrace that overlooks the garden, providing a perfect spot to sit and enjoy the symphony of birds. I was even lucky enough to spot the less common black-faced monkeys playing on the wall. The room itself is spacious, clean, and comfortable. It’s also conveniently located near some lovely little beach bars and restaurants. Pema (Payma) and her husband, who live at and manage the property are kind and welcoming. While her husband doesn’t speak English, Pema is always happy to answer any questions. They go out of their way to make your stay comfortable – even coming by to light a mosquito coil on the terrace in the evenings for your benefit. They were also very thoughtful and allowed me to leave my backpack in their home for a few hours after I checked out. I highly recommend this peaceful retreat if you’re looking for tranquility, and I would gladly stay here again.

“Nice stay near the beach”

Nice place. Very quiet area - you just hear the sounds of the sea. I liked my little terrace. My room was quite simple but i felt comfortable.

The Point is Amazing near the sea and on the other side the Lagoon. Only in one day we saw many animals. The best place we have stayed in Sri Lanka. The hosts were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Wifi was working well. You can book kayaking in the lagoon with them which we enjoyed a lot.

Very friendly Host that will any wish one has. The Location a bit down the Road is nice & quiet. Right b/w Beach and Lagoon plenty of animals will stroll around. There is a good Restaurant right next door that serves yummie breakfast and Dinner cooked by mum.

It's a big room with a balcony overlooking the garden, I enjoyed spending time there. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The beach is only 2 minutes away and there's plenty of restaurants nearby.

“Fantastic stay in beautiful Tangalle”

My stay in Tangalle was fantastic. The bungalow is very big, clean and comfortable. Having a fan working is fantastic because it’s hot in the coast. The toilet was also very good. And the location was great: 20m to the beach and walking distance to all the restaurants, but not next to them so you didn’t hear music or noise at night. I couldn’t have asked for anything else. And Pema, the old lady running the homestay made my days… ❤️ Quality-price totally worth it!

Very welcoming always smiling auntie. Very clean and spacious room and bathroom. Big balcony with comfortable chair. Comfortable bed. Hangers. Table. Cupboard. Very quiet area. Only 30 sec to the beach. Garden directly at the lagoon where you can see swimming dragons.

Located close to the beach, but still not too noisy. The hostess is a lovely lady who makes you a great breakfast. Her son arranged a scooter for us, which was convenient as no deposit had to be left in return. They have a lovely little old happy dog who does not bark, but just shakes her tail a lot. Great experience overall.

“Exceptional”

The hosts were friendly, helped us a lot during our stay, arranging kayak tour in the lagoon and tuk tuk for the city. The food served in the restaurant was amazing both the breakfast and dinner which are in larger portions . The room was big and clean with a balcony facing the lagoon and beautiful garden. The bed was comfortable. Great location with places nearby to swim. Hope to come again next time!

Right near the beautiful beach with restaurants and bars too. You can hire kayaks from them but you have to ask. Great breakfast too!
