“Lovely cottage in a garden near the beach.”

Breakfast was lovely, fresh fruit and pancakes, yogurt and tea. Sometimes omelettes. The location is what makes this property. It’s 5 mins to the beach down a very safe and pleasant lane. Lots of family-run restaurants serving home-cooked food. The one just across the street is fantastic. We had a delicious grilled fish dish. The little cottage itself is very clean and spacious in a lovely garden where we saw peacocks and monkeys.

Clean room with closet, mosquito net, fan, hairdryer and hot water in the shower. Very clean, cozy, quiet place. After one night I decided to stay for one more night because I had a really good sleep there. The family that holds the place is also very kind and friendly. The breakfast was so good that I didn’t have to eat till the evening.

We stayed here for a week and were especially impressed by the location. It’s just a 2-minute walk to two beautiful beaches — Goyambokka Beach and Silent Beach, which made our stay even more enjoyable and convenient. The room facilities were excellent. Our room was clean, comfortable, and equipped with hot water, a hairdryer, and an electric kettle, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The food was another highlight. Breakfasts were truly delicious, and we also ordered dinner several times. Out of all the places we visited in the area, this guesthouse served the most flavorful meals. Everything was well-prepared and very clean, giving us full confidence in the hygiene and cooking conditions. Overall, the warm and welcoming family, the peaceful environment, and the close connection with nature made our stay unforgettable. We can confidently recommend this guesthouse to anyone looking for comfort, tranquility, and friendly hospitality.

We stayed in this wonderful place for a week. The family was very pleasant and welcoming and they were very responsive to all our requests. Plus, as everyone says, the breakfasts were excellent. We’d also like to point out that you can order food for dinner. In fact, of all the places we visited in the area, this one had the most delicious food. And, importantly, it was very clean, so we had no concerns about the conditions under which it was prepared. Another great advantage is that it’s just a 2-minute walk to two beautiful beaches — Goyambokka Beach and Silent Beach. Overall, we chose this guesthouse for its connection with nature and the tranquility. And that’s exactly what we got. Therefore, we can confidently recommend this guesthouse to anyone who values these qualities.

great host family, absolutely delicious (and decently priced) meals the garden is a marvel of nature, especially in the early morning hours 5-min walk to the beach (Goyambokka) and, when the sea is rough, you can even hear the waves crashing from the room the terrace is great for a chilled evening but only if you apply mosquito repellent; the fuc%ers are forever hungry and their bite itches badly

Family run place a couple of minutes walk from Goyambokka beach and 20 min walk from Silent Beach. Very quiet home in a cozy garden and with outdoor sitting space where breakfast is served. Very good breakfast. Kind hosts. Clean room. It is a more local and laid back area compared to more touristy spots in Tangalle but there's plenty of restaurants and bars on the beach and around the guest house to choose from.

Our family stayed here for two weeks, and it was an incredible experience.The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach.The rooms were spacious, very clean, and comfortable, making our long stay feel like home. The hosts were so kind and always willing to help with anything we needed. Breakfast was fresh and delicious every morning, and we also had dinner here several times—great food at reasonable prices. The kids loved the garden and open space to play, and we appreciated the peaceful atmosphere. It was the perfect place for a relaxing family holiday. Highly recommended!

The location is perfect. So close to goyambokka beach which is stunning. A 5 minute 12 pence bus ride takes you to tangalle for supermarkets and the bus station. The room has a fridge and a kettle. It’s clean and big. The owners son is delightful and so helpful

Great location, very pleasant host and a beautiful place

Very lovely bungalows with their own terraces in a beautiful garden. The hosts are very discrete, so the whole place feels very quiet and serene. The place is right next to the beach. No AC in the rooms but I found that the fan was enough. Also possibility to have hot water showers which is a plus as not everywhere in Sri Lanka offers it. I highly recommend having dinner there, it was one of the best curries I had in home stays in Sri Lanka!
