We stayed in the deluxe double room. This had the most beautiful window with view! It’s a quiet area with a stunning beach on walking distance. The family is very friendly, helpful and kind. Very comfortable bed and pillows and the shower was amazing! Deff recommend to stay here!

“Perfect beach break in Tangalle”

Wow! What an epic beach break. Firstly, we stayed in the cabana style accommodation which is set apart from the main house. The owner built this himself, and the craftsmanship and design was truly impressive. It was simply beautiful to wake up here, surrounded by jungle, birdsong and with the sun shining through the circular window. I could have spent all day just hanging out here. The breakfast was delicious and owners were super helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The location is fabulous a)a short tuk tuk from Tangalle town, and an even shorter ride to famous and dramatic silent beach b) 2 mins walk from deserted Hiru beach c) 5 mins walk from Mawella beach and d)10-15 mins walk from Jungle Beach- which is paradise. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

We had a wonderful time in at Abraham's Beach houses. Abraham is a great host and super helpful. Fantastic home made breakfast, delicious juices and the beach was super close and very beautiful. We really enjoyed our time and would definitely come back :)

Abraham’s house is set in paradise, the rooms are beautiful and it’s a 2 min walk from a tranquil and private beach. He and his family we’re super accommodating and the food was absolutely delicious, couldn’t recommend this place more. Thanks so much to Abraham and his family for having us!

A wonderful place, very close to a beautiful beach. The beach itself felt like paradise – peaceful, clean, almost empty, and every morning we could watch local fishermen catching fish using traditional methods. The room had everything we needed: hot water, plenty of space, air conditioning, a mosquito net, a wardrobe, and a nice balcony. The place is perfect for relaxing and slowing down, and the owner was very calm, kind, and clearly devoted to his family, which created a very warm atmosphere. The location is quite secluded, so if you want to go to a shop or restaurant you need to take a walk, preferably along the beach.

Wonderful place run by a very nice family. The room was very clean, nice clean bathroom, hot shower and beautiful outdoor area. Many birds and monkeys to watch :). The breakfast is tasty! Close by beaches are beautiful and there are nearly no people around. We came back to stay here again cause we needed some quiet days :)

“Relaxing stay at a haven a minute’s walk away from the beach”

We stayed here for an initial 3 nights but ended up extending for another 2 nights – that’s how lovely this place is. It’s a minute walk from an isolated beach (you’ll have it to yourself), the amazing family who run this guesthouse provide breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as drinks. You can get to Tangalle and Hiriketiya easily by tuk tuk. The guesthouse and the forest it sits in are both extremely peaceful and a haven for any travellers who have done the usual hectic tourist trail in Sri Lanka. Get the Sri Lankan breakfast and the Sri Lankan curry – they are both some of the best food we had in 3 weeks on the island, and for much cheaper than any restaurant . We would wholeheartedly come back.

“Superb quiet beach stay”

This was one of the best places we stayed in Sri Lanka.The rooms were spacious,beds comfortable great water pressure in the showers.Beautiful large balconies and terraces looked out onto palms and banana trees where monkeys passed.It was 5 mins walk to a beautiful quiet beach where we went swimming.You could walk to next door long Mawella beach where a few small bars and restaurants could be found. Delicious breakfast Sri Lankan or English was offered.Abraham was happy to take us in his tuk tuk to nearby beaches and organised a massage and onward travel by taxi for us.

We had a great stay at the cabin at Abraham beach house. Really close to the beach and comfortable room with lovely hospitality.

We had a very nice stay at this family villa. Abraham and his family are friendly and helpful hosts and made us feel at home. They were always available if we needed anything. The Sri Lankan breakfast was good and freshly prepared. The house has a green garden with palm trees, and from the balcony you can see birds, squirrels, and sometimes monkeys. Abraham can also help arrange a motorbike for rent, which was very convenient. A calm and pleasant place to stay — recommended.
