Plenty of room and comfortable, great position, lovely balcony watching the wildlife.

There is nothing we can complain about it. We booked it last minute and would like to stay longer. Hospitality was amazing. Even it was last minute the owner made us a welcome drink. Rooms are clean and dry. There are two levels and we stayed on the second one. We felt really welcomed! Thanks!

Very spacious apartments, well equipped kitchen where we could cook our meals. We were lucky and were the only ones in the whole house. Helpful host who welcomed us with delicious smoothies. Walking distance to the beach and many restaurants.

Located close to the beach and restaurants. A large villa that is really well maintained. The bed linen and towels were the best we found on a 6 week trip. Breakfast cooked by the host was lovely. Optìn the have breakfast outside overlooking the lake.

“THE MANGROWE RULES!”

The stay at 4 S Villa was pure magic. The villa is spacious, located just a short walk away from the beach as well as shops and restaurants. Sanjeewa the Host was super friendly, very communicative with very good English (great conversations). The villa has a garden with a washing machine, which allows doing the laundry. But for Sanjeewa, we wouldn't have experienced the after sunset trip to Rekawa Sanctuary to see turtles lay eggs and disappear in the ocean. Unforgettable night. Last but not least, the beauty of the mangrowe adjacent to the villa. The chance to observe the flora and fauna, all the birds and animals living in their natural habitat, the changing light depending on the time of the day offer a stunningly meditative element, which makes one give up the beach. The three days we spent at 4 S Villa was definitely not enough. We highly recommend 4 S Villa... Ps. The beautifully painted gate must be seen from the front door of the house!

“Amazing Villa with Lagoon View”

This place is an absolute gem! It exceeded all my expectations ♡ If you like nature and animals you have to book this villa. The garden leads to a private lagoon that provides you with authentic wild life from Sri Lanka. We fed monkeys and chipmunks, saw bats, peacocks and fireflies right there in our backyard. We travel a lot, but I'm confident to say that Sanjeewa was the best host we ever had. He made us smoothies and coffee, gave good recommendations and even invited us for a drink with his friends. When the neighbours were playing music at night, he immediately advocated for us and made sure it wouldn't happen again. He saw to our every need and his english is excellent. He even offered to drive us to the train station. The rooms of the house are spacious. There are two rooms and a bathroom on each floor. The rooms upstairs each have a balcony. The shared kitchen has all necessary utensils. If you're lucky, you could have the whole house to yourself. I'm usually rather critical in reviews, but everything was super clean and the beds were very comfortable even for my back problems. Sanjeewa came every morning to clean the floors and the kitchen. The beach is literally a 2 minute walk away, as well as a lot of restaurants and little supermarkets. Hence the location is really excellent. I think the price was fair. I would prefer this place to any fancy hotel. Will definitely stay here a second time, should I ever visit Sri Lanka again.
