“All is perfect”

A great apartment with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen, dining room, and living room are large and clean. It's very quiet, so you can get a good night's sleep. The owners are very helpful. When my son had a high fever, they went to the hospital with us and helped in other situations. They also gave us a delicious dinner as a gift. The apartment is downstairs, but the owners live upstairs. It's located in a quiet area, very close to the beach. Just a few steps away, you'll find many restaurants and a shop. We'll definitely be back. The location is perfect. All is perfect.

“A very spacious and fully furnished villa”

A very spacious and fully furnished villa, with high-quality wooden furniture. There are two bedrooms with double beds, A/Cs and moscquito nets. Each bedroom has a separate washroom. The kitchen is spacious, with a gas stove, pots, pans, knives and other cutlery enough to prepare a hearty dinner. There are two living rooms, one with a beautiful table large enough to provide space for some 8-10 guests, and another with couches to provide accommodation to these guests :) Some nice cafes are within couple minutes of walk. The beach is also within few minutes walk. This beach is quite alright, although we preferred other beaches for swimming (such as Pallikkudawa beach, Silent beach, which are accessible by a 10-15 minutes drive by a tuk-tuk). A grocery shop is also nearby, and the town center is also easily reachable by walking (about 15 minutes walk). The owner with his family lives above, on the second floor. They were really welcoming and helped us a lot. There is a yard in front of the house with some papayas, jackfruit and mango trees. Mongooses were a frequent sight there. If we come to Tangalle again, we would love to stay here again, for sure.

Everything to 'like' about '07th ...apartment'...(1)..The apartment itself....: large/ comfortable/...and beautifully designed,fitted out with all modern conveniences.....'Booking.com''s description doesn't quite paint the full picture as to how good ' 07th " is !. The size of the apartment...a Family ,with children will have plenty of room. Two a/c bedrooms..plenty of lighting /fans ..kitchen facilities ,utensils,complimentary fresh water /great wifi connection..at a great 'value for money' charge .ALL as described on their website, when booking . (2) ..Both Mr. and Mrs Dilan..great hosts..generous /knowledgeable/friendly/..nothing too much to ask of them..outstanding . Kindly gift of fruit ..: just another example to make you feel even more at home . (3)..Location is ideal...end of a cul de sac...5 minutes walk to the beach/small supermarket and LOTS of beach side bars. Another 10 minute walk to the main City section.Huge supermarket there /money exchange/bus central,etc. Highly recommend anyone travelling to Tangalle. (Mr. Dilan also does /can offer..: tours ,with him, in his motor vehicle...local knowledge, friendly communications..another advantage. )

“Great value great location great villa”

The villa was fantastic and very large,it had 4 poster beds with nets and easy walk to the laid back beautiful beach.Dilan the owner had supplied us with washing powder beer and some food and took us to the turtle beach one evening he was great best place so far in our trip round Sri Lanka

“Best place in Tangalle”

This house was every way better than we ever could have imagined! Location quiet neighborhood, couple minute walk from beautiful beach and good restaurants, small shop, barber, and much more. Tangalle centrum also walkable distance. Best was host living upstairs, helping with bookings, trips, driving to market and even helped with renting scooter. Last day they even served us home made breakfast that was absolutely delicious. Coming back here next time :)

“Disappointing but we had a Plan B ;)”

Did not have breakfast included in our deal but got a very good complimentary Sri Lankan breakfast on the morning of our departure. Facilities were great at the Villa but could have been cleaner. Only one toilet roll supplied even though we had 2 bathroom/toilets. No soap/toiletries supplied but we always carry our own. Booking.com or owners always "falsify" what is included and neither side correct this - disgraceful practice !!! Restaurants nearby are closed or non existent which is why we left Tangalle much earlier than planned. JASMINE was open and the owner MANUJA was very helpful and flexible. Even gave me a pillion ride on his bike to get a bottle of wine ...

“Absolutely beautiful place to stay, highly recommend”

This was absolutely the best place we stayed in Sri Lanka. I can't express how amazing this place really is. Where to start! The villa is gorgeous. Really big with beautiful furniture. Two large double bedrooms with lovely four poster beds with good mosquito nets. Both bedrooms have an en suite. The villa is located about a three minute walk to the beach. You can hear the waves when sitting outside. It's in a great location. Near to the main street with lots of beach restaurants and bars. Tangalle itself is beautiful as it is more peaceful than other locations we have visited in Sri Lanka. The hosts are a wonderful family who helped us with many things. I would really recommend staying here.
