“Great stay in Tanabe”
Conveniently located near the train station and plenty of restaurants. It’s also a short walk to the beach and temples/shrines (Tokei, Kozanji). It’s a private room with plenty of space. Very comfortable. The hosts were also excellent.

“Japanese style and Cozy room”
Very close to the train station. The lady was so friendly and helpful. The room is very clean and comfortable with all the needed equipment. Clean towels and mattresses and sheets. Air conditioning, fridge, TV and kettle inside the room. Microwave and tea in the common area.

“Great value for money”
I got the back room of the restaurant. It's a slightly strange experience, but the room and especially the bathroom were great. The host was also very friendly and helpful; he could speak some English and helped me with my package delivery. Convenient location near the station and other eateries too, though the place is generally rather quiet. Nice thick futon, no issue sleeping.

We like the location and love the big tatami room! Also very friendly and helpful hosts … we wanted to stay again after walking the Kumano Kodo but the guesthouse was fully booked!

Conveniently located guesthouse for those coming in for the Kumano Kodo trail. Good kitchen facilities and kettle, though I didn't cook there, it was nice to know that that was an option. Had a good night's rest.

The owner was very nice and friendly. She let me store my luggage there while I went on the Kumano kodo. The room was clean and spacious and the futon was thick enough so I had a good sleep.

This guesthouse is really close to the station and the host is amazing. I cannot thank her enough for all the kindness and help she gave me shipping my luggge to the final destination while I was doing the Kumano Kodo trail.
