“Excellent host but bedrooms need renovation”
Unni was a wonderful host with detailed knowledge of the region and its communities. Talks with her greaty enriched my stay. She also prepared a very nice fish dinner and cooked breakfast. The location is good for trips to all parts of Varanger. The lounge area was nice and comfy.

“Pleasant stay and good home cooked food.”
Friendly lady called Unna( I think) who greeted us and gave us lots of advice on where to visit on our travels. She also arranged for us to have a massage which I would definitely recommend and she also cooked us a fabulous evening meal.

Unna was extremely friendly, hospitable and cooked a nice dinner for us. Also very informative about the surrounding area and gave us tips for future destinations and restaurants.

“We enjoyed our stay!”
Unni was nice and kind host and she made a really great and tasty dinner for us. There was homemade bread and self-grown vegetables at the breakfast table. The accommodation was clean and cozy. Everything, like showers and Wi-Fi, were working without any problems. The location was peaceful and quiet. The views from our window were beautiful. Unni also gave us useful tips for our trip in Norway ❤️

“A modest but comfortable hotel with helpful staff”
We enjoyed our one-night stay in this modest but comfortable guesthouse located 46kms north of Tana Bru in a peaceful environment. It is owned by the lovely Esther Utsi, a Sami woman, who purchased the former nursing home in a drive to expand the number of Sami enterprises in the area. Esther is an excellent cook and we can highly recommend pre-ordering an evening meal - fish or meat - for an extra charge. Our dish of reindeer with vegetables was fantastic. The caretakers, Minu and Sanchu, are charming and helpful and even insisted on carrying our bags.

The staff was very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Location was good. They also offer Ayurvedic massage and that was a great experience.
