“We left extremely disappointed and would never stay here again! So sad :(”

Don’t let your holiday be ruined by this hostel! We paid 336€ for 4 nights and spent 3 nights in a room that was clearly unhealthy and not as advertised. The room smelled extremely bad from mold and sewage from the moment we arrived. We even woke up during the night because of the smell. The walls were full of humidity damage and visible mold, there were cockroaches in the room, and the room was directly next to the reception and the street, so sleeping was almost impossible because of constant noise, loud conversations, videos playing, singing from the stuff at the reception and traffic. On top of that, we booked two single beds and arrived to find only one double bed. The hotel staff told us we had no choice but to sleep there for the night. The next day they simply separated the beds in the same disgusting room instead of giving us a proper replacement. What made the situation even worse was the attitude of the staff. We repeatedly asked for another room and were ignored for days. Later they showed us a much better room upstairs clearly closer to what we originally booked but demanded extra money for it instead of correcting their mistake. Only after sending photos of the mold and cockroaches and contacting Booking.com did they finally react. The only “compensation” offered during the entire stay was a free dinner, after our holiday had already been ruined by stress, lack of sleep, disgusting smells, and unhealthy conditions. This place should not be listed at this price point and definitely not advertised the way it currently is. We left extremely disappointed and would never stay here again! So sad :(

“A lovely surf house, beautifully decorated but not worth the price compared to other Tamraght Surf Houses”

We enjoyed Tamraght as a location, it suited us. The accommodation was a 15/30min walk to the town and beach but peaceful during sleeping hours. The accommodation was beautifully presented and staff were very friendly. There’s good communication for the activities and dinner if you’re paying for these as extra however we didn’t. Room cleaned daily. The room was spacious and stayed cool throughout the day/night.

The rooms were gorgeously designed - love the blue tiles - comfortable and very clean. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious and the location was perfect. Every member of staff we met was absolutely lovely - shoutout to Aicha and Fatima who made us feel so welcome and safe with their sunshine energy. So grateful.

“Perfect stay in Tamraght”

Quiet location, friendly staff, good food.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hostel, especially the rooms. The balcony gets sunlight for most of the day and the beds were very comfortable. Overall, everything felt clean and welcoming. I’d happily stay here again

“A sliver of sea and buckets of disappointment 💀”

The location itself is beautiful, but that’s because of the natural surroundings, not the hostel. The only genuine highlight was the view from the shower

We loved our stay at the blue waves hostel! Having breakfast on the roof terrace every morning, the lovely interior, super friendly and reliable staff made our holiday truly special. I'd recommend it to anyone :)

Rooms are clean, modern and beautifully decorated. Our room was very spacious and had lots of light and a private bathroom and balcony. The roof terrace is also stunning. Breakfast was great as well.

Super nice rooms and terrace and very clean. Breakfast was amazing! Comminication from the hotel was great. They organize surfing, yoga and other tours daily. Great place to meet and do things with other travelers :)

I loved the fact that the location is in a quiet part of Tamraght. Everything was very clean, breakfast every morning was amazing and the rooftop is absolutely beautiful!

Super friendly staff and a beautifullly decorated and super clean room. The roofterrace is also very pretty with a nice view. You can really see there is thought in every detail.

Actually it is a surf retreat place, they organize activities every day. It's a bit tricky to find, but the place is really nice, and has a terrace with great views. The room is well equipped, the bed is comfy.

During our stay , we felt very welcomed by the guy working there ( night shift ) , mainly his acts were the only positive thing about the stay.

“Very nice experience at blue waves”

The room&bathroom were very beautiful and clean with a nice view of the city & the sea. The rooftop is also so nice, the only thing missing here is a pool! Ayoub, the host, was very friendly and helpful, had a great conversation with him! Nice and generous breakfast too, thanks to the chefs! :)

“Great young vibrant stay”

the place is nicely decorated, new, perfect if you want to meet other young people. Breakfast are nice and a great way to start the day with the other inhabitants!
