“Comfortable, relaxing, quality hotel in a natural setting and beautiful town”

Ekenäs is a charming town, but with a limited amount of quality accommodation. Using public transport, I chose the Seafront Hotel because it is just ten minutes' walk from the station, meets its promise of being beside the sea in its own grounds, has a quiet location and a good range of facilities. Finns can be a bit gloomy and silent, so the cheery reception was welcome. The room was really comfortable and well furnished and decorated. The facilities included sauna and bicycle hire (ideal for Ekenäs and first two hours free!). The lounge includes quality local craft at reasonable prices. The buffet breakfast offered a wide range of choice.

A short walk from the railway station. Friendly welcome. Pleasant room with a view over the bay. Easy to reach the old town. Good breakfast and plenty of peace and quiet. Will gladly return.

A very pleasant hotel with an excellent location on the sea front. Nice sea view from the room. The room was stylishly decorated. A very good breakfast nicely presented. Friendly staff. Availability of electricity point to charge my hybrid car.

We had a room with a sea view, which was very enjoyable. This was in the late fall and it was quite cold outside, so we did not use the balcony, which must be quite nice in the summer. The room was very comfortable and clean with good design. It was well maintained and looked almost new. They had installed individual heating and cooling for every room about a year ago, so we could choose the temperature, which was good as it was quite cold outdoors (minus centidegrees during the night). It must also be an advantage in the summer. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was good considering that it was low season and we ate quite late. This hotel clearly exceeded our expectations. Much higher standard than you would have expected from a hotel in a provincial city.

Small family-style hotel well in line with the general atmosphere of this fabulous little coastal town. Clean, quiet and functional. The rooms are small but adequate and the sea view is food for the soul. The breakfast has everything you need.
