“The shady garden and pools are a real asset.”
Our Villa (no4) was right next to the pool in the lovely shady garden. There were howler monkeys and Iguanas in the garden most days. The kitchen was well equipt so that we could make our own breakfast and even some evening meals.

“Peaceful place with a perfect location”
We loved our stay here! It was a really nice chilled and peaceful vibe and we loved how friendly the other guests were. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the location was perfect! A short walk away from the shops, restaurants and beach! There was lots of wildlife around the area too!

“My comfy room, veranda & pool area provided a nice little escape, close to everything I needed.”
Room had a veranda, felt safe, wildlife in the lush pool area/garden, pool with lounge chairs, comfortable bed, reasonable rate, good location close to local conveniences, access to a shared kitchen with available coffee, well-maintained grounds, lockbox and mini-fridge in the room.

“It was magical being in amongst the fauna and sounds of nature.”
It was near the main street close to all bars and restaurants. Short walk to beach and there is a grocery store a few minutes away. The pool is really nice and each room has a porch with a veranda. Tom the owner is wonderful and Susan fills you in on everything to see and do.

“I’m going to miss this place and people!”
I loved the location. Everyone in the staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. They always made sure I wasn’t lacking anything. Cleaning every day, great kitchen that you can cook in, fridge in the room was a bonus. Pool is super nice too with lots of space to chill.

“Basic budget accommodation that is in an excellent location and has great staff.”
The rooms are basic but clean. There was a fridge in each room and the air conditioning worked. Check in was easy and we were able to get two parking spaces on site. The staff Susan and Octavio were very helpful and booked us a estuary tour at short notice. Susan also went above and beyond with her help when the laundry provider did not return some of our laundry on the last day due to a vehicle failure. She managed to arrange for someone to go to the laundry and collect the clothes and get them back to us before we had to leave. The pool was small but perfect for our needs. We loved the howler monkeys that came to visit regularly during our stay and didn't mind them waking us up at night with their calls.

Octavio and Susan were extremely friendly and discreet about an issue I was having when arriving, which I really appreciated as it caught me off guard The room was great, a very large bed, a hot shower, mossie free and clean, the only issues you may get are your neighbours as the first night I was woken with a start as mine slammed the door so hard I thought they were entering mine, after that the security lights kept going on/off, I could also hear a lady chatting loudly in the early hours on her phone, next night was quieter Walkable to the beach and restaurants with a little supermarket a few doors down It felt safe as well

“Rustic charm in the heart of Tamarindo!”
The location was fantastic. Although it was in the heart of the city it felt separated from the noise and busyness. A little community like oasis in Tamarindo. Howler monkeys, Iguanas, cats. If you dont like nature, dont stay here. If you want to feel like you are part of a little village with a rustic, groovy feel and a community open air kitchen, this is your place! There is a safe and mini fridge in each room too! A hammock on each patio for each little villa and a place to hang your clothes to dry. And a table and chair outside each room to eat breakfast or have a drink. It was wonderful! If you need laundry done, they can have it picked up and dropped off for a nominal price.

“A fine spot for a short stay in Tamarindo.”
We stayed for only one night and it was a nice spot, close to everything. The pool was refreshing and the playground was nice for the kids. The gentleman at the front desk who checked us in was very lovely, helpful and kind.

“Great location and awesome staff”
The villas were cute and well laid out. The location was incredible. Right by all the best restaurants in Tamarindo and a short walk to the beach. The staff was so great and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay!
