“Excellent stay, will definitely return one day”

Location was amazing, steps to a quiet part of the beach. They provided free beach towels and chairs, surfboards/boogie boards to borrow which was super convenient. The room itself was exceptionally clean and had all the amenities I could need and more. I got the room with the kitchen and it was fully stocked with cookware and utensils. Bed was super soft and comfortable. The air conditioning was in the bedroom and worked well. I was told that there would be no parking and I would have to park nearby but actually there was plenty of space outside the front of the building which was a bonus.

Beautiful boutique style spacious room with great extra touches like local fresh coffee in the room with a coffee maker and towels for the beach. There are peaceful communal gardens and dining area with kitchen and bbq. They even supply beach chairs and boogie boards for your enjoyment. The location is great with the beach less than 5 minute stroll and great restaurants and bars a 10 minute walk away. Sol and Emanuel are the best hosts, I only wish I had stayed longer.

Lovely and modern place, about 2 min walk to quiet part of Tamarindo beach. The room was clean and they provide you with toiletries and beach towel which was great. Staff were super friendly and the place is lovely.

This accommodation in Tamarindo was something very special for us. The room is designed and decorated with so much love that you immediately feel at home. When we checked in, we were welcomed by Sol—a warm-hearted, cheerful person whose smile and positive energy are contagious. She explained everything to us with such warmth and joy that we felt welcome from the very first moment. It's a place that's not only beautiful, but also feels good. We will cherish this stay in our hearts and would love to come back.

Modern, clean, everything in good condition and working order, comfortable bed, great location - 5 minutes to beach and 12 minutes to town centre, secluded setting, friendly and welcoming hosts, there are communal body boards, umbrellas and folding beach chairs for guests to use and parking outside

Gorgeous! Set away from the road, v tranquil, 3 mins to the best quiet beach, 6 mins into the town centre. Outside facilities include a bbq, kitchen area, shower etc making the last day so easy. Pretty little verdant and quirky boho garden. Lovely friendly staff and fellow residents. Apt well equipped, clean, modern and nicely decorated.

Good sized room with private terrace. We received a welcome basket with goods which was a nice touch. The staff was very friendly & helpful. The bathroom was large with plenty of space and we had numerous items such as coffee machine & water boiler in the room, which again was helpful. Parking in front of the gates & close access to the beach. Good location overall with a lot of privacy.

“Great local hotel”

The property is small set in a garden with trees and flowers. The room had a shady porch outside with seating. The property had loaner umbrellas which i thought a nice touch, since we are in the rainy season. I was given the WhatsApp for Emanuel should i need anything, and he was able to book me a shuttle to San Jose on my last day. Paula the housekeeper and the gardener, whose name i forgot, were accommodating. Everyone made me feel at home. Downtown and the beach are easy walking distances from the hotel.

Wonderful place. Really nice room, well equipped and decorated. Very short walk to beach and nearby restaurants, cafes and bars. Off the main road so nice and quiet all day and night. Staff were welcoming and went out of their way to make my stay a happy one. One of the best places I've stayed anywhere.

Great host who offered advice on local restaurants, facilities, places of interest and beaches. The venue is a gated community of about six apartments located only two minutes walk to the beach. Parking is onsite and free. Very clean, facilities modern and in good order. Really recommend Tamarindo Sunshine. Perfect for couples.

Close to the beach. Gated in a safe area. There is a beautiful garden outside with extra tables to hang out or have lunch at with an outdoor kitchen.

This place is amazing!! Like a little hidden paradise and literally only 3 mins from the beach. The host Emanuel was super friendly and helpful. The place is taken care of so well, the garden and especially all the little decoration details outside and in the room. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious as well as the bathroom. Only for this place I would go back to Tamarindo :)!!
