“Good and very reasonably priced accommodation”

A good find in Tamarind I, just a 100 m or so from the main drag, the best rated diving shop, and a supermarket. The street is unpaved, but the traffic is minimal. Car park is in front of the property (at your own risk). The room is on two levels, bedroom and bathroom upstairs, with a lounge, and another bathroom downstairs. There is a good size dipping pool and some shaded areas. No fuss check in and out.

I really liked the quiet location, which was not too far from the bars, cafes and beach, but not so close to be noisy. The apartment was great. There was an upstairs bedroom and my friend had the downstairs sofa bed. It worked out great.

We loved where the Blue Apartments were situated so close to the beach… a 5-minute walk :) It’s also close to restaurants and grocery stores. The staff at the TBA were so friendly and they maintained the property on a daily basis. It’s just a beautiful pocket of paradise 🌴

We loved the location, it was a short walk from the beach and the market and shops. We loved the room, very comfortable beds and a wonderful space to stay for a week. We also loved spending time by the pool every morning.

It was 10 minutes to the beach and stores, yet far enough away that it was quite at night. Perfect little pool with a good amount of lounge chairs in the shade or sunny areas.

Excellent location. Extremely close to the main area of Tamarindo, but set back off the main road in a quiet area . It was also extremely close to the beach. The property was lovely and well equipped. Access to the property was gated and required a passcode. It was nice to have a pool on site.

“A gem of a hotel in Tamarindo”

Beautiful grounds, lush and natural, set the mood for a quiet, relaxing, private retreat from the noise of the town, which is a mere 3 minute walk. The beach is a 5 minute walk, yes just 5 minutes to the best swimming and surfing beach with lots of shade. The 'room' is just perfect. Its a full apartment with a full kitchen, gas stove with oven, full fridge, utensils, coffee pot, toaster, and blender. Powder room on first level with living area and a walk out onto a lovely patio overlooking the gardens and pool. 2nd floor has double bed and single, huge closets, built in safe, and massive bathroom. Ceiling fans and AC on both levels makes for comfort and escape from the heat outside. The pool area is lovely. Big enough for floating around chatting with other guests. Gets lots of shade in afternoon, and there are more than enough loungers and chairs for everyone. The owner and the staff are very kind, friendly, and professional people. They made us feel welcome and also left us alone to enjoy ourselves. At times it was like we had our own slice of heaven! Howler Monkeys hanging out in the trees above us, wildlife at night was fun to see as well. And the two cats that have made it home were pleasant and friendly. Anything you needed was provided. Any question answered quickly. If you needed your room cleaned, needed more matches for the stove etc you just asked. We can't express how lovely Tamarindo Blue was. We were there for 3 weeks. We cooked every day and enjoyed getting to know the local spices and dishes. We felt 100% safe and at home from day 1. If you are a person who wants that all inclusive gated pampered holiday this is not for you. If you are a person who loves to travel, experience the country, and take care of yourself than you can not go wrong here. Really really great. I am a picky traveler and have high standards and I was so happy there. And the value for the cost!!!! Amazing.

Staff were really helpful. I arrived early and they made every effort to make me comfortable and also to get my room ready before checking in time which I appreciated. The rooms were very clean, quiet and well equipped with AC both upstairs and downstairs.

The location was fantastic, within walking distance of the beach and far enough from the main road to maintain a quiet atmosphere at night. We enjoyed the opportunity to make our own breakfast and have our meal on the deck facing the beautiful garden and singing birds in the morning.
