I slept in a capsule in the women’s dorm and felt really comfortable and safe. Norman, the manager, in particular, is incredibly warm, welcoming, and a great person to talk to. You can tell that everyone puts a lot of love and care into the hostel and into making sure you feel at home. From the rooftop, you have a fabulous view of the ocean and the mountains, and it’s a wonderful spot to enjoy the sunset. The nearest supermarket is about a 10-minute walk away, and in 15 minutes you can reach downtown Tamarindo or the beach. I highly recommend everyone stop by here.

1 - It would be good to have a note for guests to do not set the AC to a temperature higher than 24°C and to do not hide the control inside their pod. Once, we arrived at the room and the AC was set to 28°C and the control was hidden (it magically appeared the next day). 2 - One day we run out of water and I message the hostel through WhatsApp to get to know what was going on. I've never had a response through WhatsApp. The security guy just said that it was a problem of the whole Tamarindo. However, we hung out with people who were staying at other places in Tamarindo and they said that the water was normal. I think it was disrespectful to do not have aswered my message, explaining better what was going on exactly. 3 - The sink area needs a shelf to put your stuff while you are, for example, brushing your teeth. The shower area needs more hooks to hang your clothes while you are taking a shower. 4 - A full body mirror would be nice. There was none.

What an awesome stay. Could not recommend it more! Great location (15 minute walk from the beach and 10 minute walk from town). The hostel is so clean and tidy, the staff are incredibly kind and friendly, the pods are amazing!! If you're a solo traveller and you need a little privacy after staying in so many hostels, this is the perfect option. And on top of that the butterfly garden is just so cool. 10 out 10, will definitely stay here again when back in Tamarindo.
