This was our best experience in Tamarindo! Before this, we stayed in hotels with much higher prices, but unfortunately, they didn’t meet our expectations. We fell in love with La Ramona from the very first moment — everything looks exactly like in the photos, it’s very clean and cozy, and you can really feel the attention to detail. The breakfast is excellent, and the rainwater pool is truly something special! We would also like to highlight Pavel and his team — they are always available and ready to help with anything right away. This level of care is rare to find. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!

“Central and calm stay in Tamarindo”

Perfect spot calm and right in the center of Tamarindo. The room was the perfect size and with good and silent AC. The staff was friendly and welcoming!

A truly wonderful place where the hotel owner, Pavel, and the staff do everything possible to make you feel like part of the family. Before arrival, you can book tours and activities, and Pavel will happily recommend and explain everything. The hotel is very clean. We stayed in the new part of the property, which also has a small but multifunctional gym. The air conditioning works perfectly here, and unlike many other hotels, the owners allow guests to set it to any temperature (in other places you often can’t set it below 24°C 🙂). We also recommend ordering the paid breakfasts - they are excellent. We will definitely come back for Christmas. Pura Vida!

We stayed for about a week in the new part of the hotel and everything was amazing! We really enjoyed the hotel’s modern facilities, great services (e.g. daily cleaning, parking, coffee machine in the room, a common gym etc). It is placed at a 10 min walk from Tamarindo’s center and the rooms are clean and big, and the staff is very friendly and polite. So we definitely recommend it.

This place was very cute, reminded me of greece style vibes and also very spacious. Location was perfect, few minute walk to the center but also far enough to not hear road noise at night. Manager and staff were very kind! Breakfast was very good. Thank you!

This is one of the hotels in Costa Rica I would happily book again on my next visit. Despite Tamarindo being quite noisy, the hotel is in a peaceful area, the staff is genuinely kind, and the breakfast is absolutely delicious

This was our first time in Costa Rica, and we stayed at the wonderful La Ramona Hotel. We were in the new part of the hotel, and everything was excellent — the room, the facilities, and the overall atmosphere. Special thanks to the manager, Pavel, who was very attentive and always ready to help. The breakfast was great, and there is even a small gym, which was a nice bonus. Unlike many other hotels, this place has hot water, which really mattered. We also recommend booking excursions in advance — Pavel helps choose the best options. We will definitely come back. Excellent hotel! Very clean and well maintained, the room was comfortable and peaceful. Breakfast had a good variety, everything was fresh and tasty. The hotel is very quiet, perfect for relaxing. There is a large swimming pool with clean water and a private gym, which was a great bonus. The bed linen is of excellent quality, making sleep very comfortable. The hosts are extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

The atmosphere was very calm and nice. Even though I was staying for work I also had the chance to relax. There were no kids screaming or making noise either so that was amazing. The room was beautiful and being surrounded by green was amazing!!!

First time in Costa Rica and this is definitely the best hotel, the breakfast is awesome which is cooked for you in the morning and you have a choice of what to eat, it was definitely enough for half a day 😉. It has a mini gym with air conditioning. I stayed in a brand new hotel with a very large bathroom and the most beautiful sunrise and sunset views! The bed and linens are all wonderful. This is definitely the best place in Tamarindo, very quiet and cozy, I felt like family! I will definitely come back here again.
