Overview
Located only 65 metres from Lake Talsi, Saule offers homelike accommodation in a renovated house that is over 100 years old. Rooms feature with free Wi-Fi. All the rooms in Saule feature renovated, century old wooden floors and are decorated in classical style, with light pine wood furniture. They all have a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a DVD player, as well as an electric kettle and a bathroom with a shower, a hairdryer and free toiletries. Saule is surrounded by a green garden with a rock garden area, as well as barbecue facilities and a private pond. At an extra charge, guests can fish, ride a horse or enjoy a boat trip, as well as shuttle services. Baron Fircks Manor, where Talsi District Museum is located, is only a 3-minute walk away. There is also a cafe in the castle. Talsi Bus Station is a 15-minute walk away.

“A perfect location for Talsi”
A nice house near the lake, just a short walk from the old town. The owner is really helpful and gives a lot of information. You can also meet a lot of cats near the hotel. You can have a breakfast outside with a view of the lake and the old town in the distance.

Very prompt lady who is going great job in such a cute place. Amazing garden, with beautiful view on the old town and BBq stop. We were luck to be there in summer, when cucumbers are ready, plums and gooseberries. House was it atmosphere. Talsi itself, good stop to travel different directions in Kurzeme. I recommend.

“Old World Charm and Exceptional Location”
Refreshing to stay in a place with homey ‘grandmas house’ charm; Viktorija makes you feel like family and has great insight into walks and where to eat (take all her advice). Her garden is exceptional and a great place to sit, drink tea and look out over the lake; peaceful and lovely day & night.
