Overview
This charming hotel is located in the very centre of the picturesque, small town of Talsi in Northern Kurzeme, next to Vilkmuizas Lake. Hotel Talsi offers comfortable rooms, all featuring a bathroom with a shower. Breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant that has beautiful lake views. Meals are served only upon previous arrangement, while coffee and tea can be enjoyed in reception. There are also 2 conference rooms for up to 40 people. The coast of the Baltic Sea and the Slitere National Park, with its dunes, forests and historic villages, are just 35 km away from Hotel Talsi. There is a gym right next to the hotel.

“Historical hotel with exceptional hosts”
The stay was brilliant. Exceptional hosts along with the history of the hotel made it a pleasure. While some may consider the decor dated we thought it suited perfectly .

“It was amazing.”
The property is in a very good location. The staff is so friendly they even bring me from talsi to Ventspils. Noone has ever done that for me from all the times I stayed somewhere. Everything was nice and clean. I would 100% recommend.

“Great stay”
Had an amazing time in Talsi hotel- post soviet chic with lovely views. Hosts and staff were lovely, friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our short stay and would stay there again!

For a renovated Soviet-era hotel, it is in good condition. Good location and quite good value for money. View of the lake - wonderful. No worry about parking, there is also an electric car charger nearby.

“A nostalgic memory from the Soviet guest house 40 years ago”
The pleasure of remembering the past. Bring bed sheets if you don't want to sleep under a bedspread, towels including a footmuff if this dark cloth doesn't fit, crocs for the shower floor. The windows don't open, bring an air purifier and ionizer. The door locks, it wobbles a little but stays shut, the wind doesn't blow and the rain doesn't fall on your neck. Life is like a flower. A perfume bottle can be used as a toilet flush button.

“Good for a night stop-over.”
Good location- can imagine the lake views for rooms on the other side of the hotel are very lovely. The windows open wide for fresh air! The bed was very comfortable. The staff are friendly. The hotel was quiet. Parking was easy. Great location with the town.
