Overview
Set on a hilltop inside Maremma Nature Park, Gitavillage Talamone features a private beach, swimming pool and lots of sports facilities. It overlooks the bay from Talamone to Monte Argentario. The property is just 500 metres from its private beach, where you will have 2 free sun loungers and 1 parasol. The swimming pool is open from May until September and there is also a tennis court, children's playground and ping pong. The cottages are air conditioned and include a kitchenette and patio where you can enjoy your meals. Camping Village Talamone provides free parking and is 20 minutes' drive from Orbetello. Activities on site include trekking and scuba diving.

The campsite is beautifully located on a terraced slope and offers a wide range of accommodation options. There are two deeper swimming pools (one was unfortunately closed during our stay) and a shallow pool for children. The site is well-equipped for kids – several playgrounds, a game room with arcade machines and table football, a restaurant, and a mini market. The restaurant serves average food. The staff is very kind and friendly, but they are often overwhelmed. Pizza is available only in the evening. Prices in both the restaurant and the shop are reasonable. We stayed in a Michelangelo cabin – spacious and clean, but both the kitchen and the bathroom are clearly in need of renovation. The shower was particularly poor, which detracted from an otherwise comfortable stay.

“Child-friendly but at this price, I doubt we'll return.”
-> I liked the fact that the house was built of bricks and the AC was really effective. Despite the July heat, the house was a comfortable temperature. -> The house was also a good size for us (a family of four) compared to other comparable alternatives. -> The sea (a 500m walk away) is very safe for children - sandy, shallow and protected. The private road to get there was easy and safe too.

“not a great experience”
did not gate proper service, first we sent to room by just giving keys, later they found its wrong room. then there was no power , someone attended to fix it, we did not get Hot water to bathroom

“Good location to chill out.”
The room provided a fan and enough of bed linens. The best thing is there is a mosquito-free shield.

Very comfortable stay. The apartment we booked via booking was not representative in reality. But The staff was cool to give us a more private cabin for the price we paid earlier

“Nice place to stay in Talamone”
Very nice location and unexpected quiet ! The accommodation is very efficiently organised, having a lot of places for your stuff. Also I saw a lot of places for barbecue if you want to make your own. Having their own restaurant and pool, you don't need more even the sea is quite close. Nice walk to the castle, beautiful view.

Wonderful and quiet location. Spacious Bungalow, with fully equipped kitchen. The pool is great, restaurant really good. We were there end of May so there was not many tourists and the pool area was very relaxing.
