We had a wonderful stay here. The location is superb and the host extremely nice. She helped us with transport and gave us all sorts of tips. The beach is the nicest you will find on the South Coast. Breakfast is served in the rooftop restaurant next door with great views! Would love to come back here!

The location is beautiful. It is located on a little hill above Talalla Beach. It is only a few steps to the beautiful beach. The owner is very friendly and the breakfast and dinner at her brothers place, which is close by is very good.

A lovely stay, the very helpful owner welcomed us on the beach it was like arriving on a small island, great unpoilt beach and stunning views from that corner! Restaurant on the side is high up with amazing views for breakfast. Such a peaceful place! Need tuk tuk, taxi or walk to get bus to other places. Banana café and firefly café are also great to laze around!

The view of the beach from the balcony was amazing and to have the balcony itself was so lovely for mornings and evenings. It was also really close to the beach so easy to go back and forth to.

Darshani is a wonderful host. She offers a very authentic place for a reasonable price with a huge terrace that has a stunning view on the wonderful Talalla beach. The rooms are small but equipped with everything you need. Her brother is also very kind and provides excellent breakfast and dinner. He offers comfortable rooms too. Thank you Darshani and Krishanta for your great hospitality and flexibility. We will definitely come back.

The view from the hotel and from the treetop restaurant. Indeed, a wonder view! One of the best views you find anywhere in the country. The host was also very helpful arranging a car, TukTuk etc..

This is paradise! The beautiful, quiet beach and the lovely host Darshani made my stay at Talalla Beach one of the highlights of my trip through Sri Lanka. Thank you Darshani for sharing so many stories and teaching me so much about Sri Lankan culture!

“Wonderful view & place to stay”

The best place to stay in Talalla! As it states, the view is great. The sea can be heard in your room, so lovely. There is an outdoor area to sit or lie in the hammock. Darshani was so helpful & kind &, fun company too. Breakfast was excellent. Its also right next to a yoga retreat, so you can join them for classes, if that's your thing.

Amazing place with a wonderful view in a very peaceful and quiet location. Very friendly owner and delicious breakfast!

Our lovely, kind and always smiling hostess made our stay from the moment she welcomed us and said she'd upgraded us to the twin room. The view was superb from the big balcony, as it was from her brother's lovely Treetop restaurant next door where we had our delicious included breakfasts (alternating Sri Lankan and western). Location ideal at this largely untouched beach - sheltered best swimming end of the beach with a short walk to a few restaurant alternatives (Happy Banana is recommended) and a friendly minimarket (whose ginger cat had been bitten by a monkey so they called out a vet!) Room was spacious, clean and had basic amenities. The bed was comfortable. When one light stopped working the hostess immediately called an electrician although we were checking out. Such a sweet lady making a start with her own business!

Darshani is an excellent host , warm , friendly and very helpful. The room is clean and large with everything you need , fan and mosquito net provided but net could be positioned better to ensure full coverage . Room is located in an excellent position , amazing view of the beautiful beach ,wonderful to wake up to the sound of the sea. I would definitely recommend booking , great value for money .

“Beautiful place surrounded by nature”

We stayed for 7 nights and had an amazing time here. :) You can see the ocean from the bed and watch the sunrise from the balcony. The family is wonderful and helps you out with everything. Also the breakfast, which you can have between 8-10 in the restaurant of her brother, was super good and huge. There are also a couple of good restaurants nearby. As they are just started it is pretty basic, so no ac but you have a fin. If you are looking for a nice and calm nature place with a lovely family and a beautiful view it's the best place to be. :) :)
