“A great place for relaxing by a quiet beach”

We had a wonderful stay here. The pool was perfect for cooling down at the end of the day, and the short walk to the beach made the location ideal. The hosts were truly lovely—attentive and welcoming throughout our visit. The food was outstanding, with the pineapple curry and parathas among the very best meals we enjoyed in Sri Lanka. I had a really great stay at Talalla Leisure. The welcome was perfect and the staff were extremely attentive throughout my stay. The owner even helped me look for my keys on the beach at night, which I really appreciated — that kind of care makes a big difference. The food was excellent, always fresh and very tasty. The accommodation itself is simple, but that’s exactly what you expect from a guesthouse. The bed was comfortable, even if it’s not a luxury setup. The place is also very calm and peaceful, which made it easy to relax. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a simple, authentic, and welcoming stay.

Absolutely everything. The best place we stayed in Sri Lanka. The owners are absolutely gorgeous and so accommodating. They are incredible cooks as well. The food was just delicious - we ate there every night. The pool was amazing and bigger than the pictures make it seem. The rooms were very comfortable and we had a lovely balcony and view of the ocean. The location was great, Talalla beach is gorgeous and very quiet. There was a couple little beach bars where we had cocktails at night. Just be careful of sandlfies - wear repellent! Dickwella beach is a short Tuktuk ride. I would absolutely recommend anyone to go to Talalla Leisure - we will be back!!!

A beautiful family run hotel only 5 mins walk to Talalla beach which is so quiet, we almost hall the beach to ourselves! The hotel is quiet and the family are really kind and do everything to make your stay enjoyable. We ate dinner on both nights as the food was some of the best we had in Sri Lanka, the owner is an exceptional cook. Highly recommend the fresh cuttle fish, cooked in a banana leaf! Thank you to the family for helping us enjoy our holiday and escape from Irish winter!

There are many things we liked about this place. The room was wide and clean, and the terrace on the garden was great. You could also see the seaside from the side. Position is great: you can easily reach Talalla beach in 5 minutes walk, and it's absolutely worthwhile. The are some waves almost all the time, but the beach is huge and without many people, it is peaceful and nice. The family owning the place is wonderful, warmly welcoming the guests, and trying to support all the time. Food is great, one of the best breakfast we had in Sri Lanka. They also serve dinner. A swimming pool is also available, good size and well kept.

“Bedroom with a million dollar view”

The hosts were super nice, served us very tasty local food. The room facing the sea is very spacious and comfortable. One of our best stay of our entire trip in Sri Lanka. Great location if you like quietness. Sumptuous Tallala beach only 5mn away.

Amazing place! The ocean view from the balcony is absolutely breathtaking. The room is clean and more spacious than I expected. The bed is wide and comfortable. The location is perfect, just 5 minutes walk to Talalla Beach - a wide, white sand, empty beach. It's also not far from Hiriketiya and Matara or Mirissa. The owners of the place go above and beyond to make your stay pleasant. Tasty and filling breakfast. You can also order food and drinks from the menu for lunch or dinner. Stable WiFi. Nice swimming pool. Adapters for electric sockets, useful if you have EU plugs. I'm more than happy with my stay at Talalla Leisure and I will definitely stay there again when in Sri Lanka!

Overall a decent stay. The staff were friendly, and both breakfast and food were good. The rooms were fine and comfortable enough.

“Nice stay in Talalla”

Location is amazing, beach is at 10mn walk. Breakfast was different each morning and very good. Pool is nice and large. Room was spacious, comfortable beds, mini fridge and hot water in the shower. We highly recommand

Our stay at talalla leisure was amazing I can highly recommend this place. The owners are extremely kind and friendly. Very nice to talk to and really helpful. The room was beautiful and the view was breathtaking. Besides they also have restaurant in the hotel and I can say with confidence that it was the best food we have eaten in Sri Lanka. Fresh seafood, tasty juices and I could keep going. Breakfast here is enormous and delicious. I couldn’t imagine a better place to spend holidays at.

Very accomodating, kind and friendly hosts. Breakfast and dinner was always plentiful and delicious. Crashing waves and ocean sounds acting like a soothing lullaby to bed. Beautiful pool but unfortunately didn’t get a chance to use it!

The hosts are very good and friendly. They have two different buildings. The view from room is good. Overall good option for quiet and peaceful location.

Lovely room and friendly staff. We had beautiful sea views. The bed was super comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. We stayed for dinner one evening and enjoyed a fantastic meal of perfectly spiced fish baked in a banana leaf, served with chips and salad.
