“Fine budget room, but not great”
Big bed which is quite comfortable. Ceiling fan. Reasonably clean. Serves breakfast and very punctual with breakfast time, but quite poor. Nice terrace to sit outside and do some birdwatching and be greeted by monkeys. Very close to the beach. Hosts seem friendly. Was able to leave my luggage at the guesthouse after check out and pick it up after a visit to the beach. And when my almost two year pooped just before leaving I was granted access to the wash room to clean her.

The hosts were very, very warm. Despite little language in common, they defined " hospitable". Great location 5 minutes walk from a beautiful beach. The room was large and comfortable. Very tasty meals too.

“Good value if you’re looking for basic accommodation.”
Fantastic location maybe 100m to the beach. Nice and quiet at the rear of the property. Breakfast was adequate and OK without being great. Nice family!!

“Like a home away from home”
Because we love this place so much we returned for 3 more nights after our yoga-retreat. Immediately we felt like home again. The room has everything we need and is always very clean. The hospitality and awareness of this family is just incredible. Anu remembered our favourite dishes and every day we got a different one for dinner. Same with the breakfast. At the end they even got up in the middle of the night to give us a warm goodbye and a breakfast-parcel that we didn‘t stay hungry at the airport.

“Perfect place”
The hospitality of the family who runs this homestay is incredible. We feel so much home and welcomed there, so that we come to this place year after year. We also enjoyed very much the delicious cooking of our host Anu. She makes a superb rice and curry and for breakfast you have a lot of choices. We recommend the srilankan breakfast. The beach is super near and so you can enjoy a very relaxed holiday there.
