Really good budget Guesthouse. Basic but everything you need. Good outdoor space to sit and have a drink and watch the birds, monkeys. Minutes from Tallala beach. Very good breakfast

Very nice homestay, calm, clean and spacious, no AC but a fan, it is very close to the beach.

Place ran by local family so you have home stay atmosphere, for us great. Room on the first floor, separate outside entrance, no one next door, whole terrace for you. Perfect for us. Our child could go freely on the staircase up and down for fun. Breakfast included, not fancy but tasty. Optionally you can buy evening meal also which is very handy especially with small kids and of course tasty . The lady od the house is trying to accomodate your wishes. All very friendly. Wifi sometimes works better sometimes not but we are not here for wifi. The place is just 50-100 m from the beach, which is the jest thing . There ja no hot water only cold shower but who needs hot water in this kind of weather ? For us 10 out of 10

I very much enjoyed my time staying here. The family were so accommodating and just lovely. I felt as much at home as one can in a new place. It’s so close to the beach and talalla retreat if you want to take some yoga classes. Would definitely recommend staying here and if I’m ever in talalla again I would stay here!

The remote area was close to the beach. It’s nice and quiet place with nice breakfast. Beach is few metres away

We had a great time staying with Thanuja and her family. They were really friendly and helpful. The house is only a minute or two away from the beach. Breakfast was delicious and we had dinner one night at the beach house too, which was excellent and very reasonably priced. We would love to stay again!

A great place to stay! Very kind and loving owners, they make sure that you have all you need. They offer delicious breakfast with fruit and sri lankan dishes. Just a few steps to the beach! Can highly recommend.

“Don’t get your hopes up. Cheap place, close to the beach, but in no way worth the high ratings.”

The place is cheap and close to the beach. Has a fan and a mosquito net. Nice balcony overlooking the road to the beach, but beware if you have little kids, cause parts of the balcony have no fencing. Serves breakfast, but very poor. Extremely punctual with the time they served it though. They seemed quite fond of my almost 2 year old daughter and entertained her a little upon arrival. When I mentioned I had a problem with the internet, the lady seemed to want to fix it straight away.

Near to the beautiful beach. Everything was lovely. The breakfast was super. I wish I could have stayed longer.

“Perfect location & a lovely stay”

I had a great stay at Paradise Beach House, especially as I discovered I could attend open yoga classes nearby. The room had everything I needed & it was lovely to sit on the balcony watching the world go by at breakfast & dinner. The family were so kind and served delicious food & accommodated my early rising for yoga : ) The beach is just a short walk away & shop nearby too. Great value and a warm welcome.

“Amazing value for money and home comfort.”

This guesthouse was amazing value for money. It is just a minute's walk from the beach, and from restaurants. The family who host are amazingly friendly and kind, such good hosts. There are two rooms, upstairs so there is a lovely balcony to have meals on and good privacy. The room is very large and clean, as is the bathroom. There is no hot water, which in this area is not much of an issue. The breakfast is included and is delicious. On my day of departure, I left at 4am for a National Park safari and the host made breakfast for me to takeaway and even got up to give it to me straight out of the fridge so it was fresh. I chose to have dinner both nights, you can choose the time, and it was amazing home Sri Lankan cooking. I think it is the best meal you will have in the area, and great value.

Lovely, welcoming family. The room was very spacious and I appreciated the balcony for breakfast and evenings reading my book. Location is fantastic for beach and talalla is a way quieter location along the southern coast Also appreciated the family guarding me from the devilish monkeys at breakfast time 🥰

“Lovely homestay”

Very sweet hostess (always ready with a cup of tea or umbrella!), close to the beach, tasty breakfast. I wish I'd been able to stay longer.
