Onsen!

“Good value for money. Fully self service. Clean and quiet locality.”

This is a homestay hotel. Self service everywhere. No reception but they are contactable via WhatsApp. Useful info and instructions are pasted all over the house.

Very nice traditional ryokan place, the room was very pretty, the bed was very confortable. All shared spaces were clean 👍 The private onsen was a real pleasure, I especially appreciated the outside one with the nice spring weather Near from the bus station to go to all touristic places around (kamikochi, takayama, mastumoto)

A beautiful house in a perfect location. Wonderful helping staff. Free in and out sento. Free washing machine. Free coffee all day and bread in the morning. We stayed for 3 days and enjoyed every minute of it. A walking distance excellent ski resort. And…. Very good price!!

The proximity to the bus station.

Everything the vibe and local culture. Very close to the nohi bus station. Nice hot spring water outside to warm hands and legs. Couldn't use the outdoor onsen as it was a busy time

The room had exactly what you need for a short stay, the facilities were clean and sufficient and the location is perfect. The staff was very nice.

We were going into the mountains for a one nighter after checkout and the owner was gracious enough to allow us to leave our luggages at the property for an additional night.

It's just around the corner from Hirayu Onsen bus station, so you can take buses anywhere from there. The private onsen is amazing and traditional rooms are super nice.

Great place and really good location for getting to activities with the bus stop 2 mins away. The place had everything and the Onsen was amazing to experience at the property and was really nice and relaxing. Beds where comfy and the rooms where clean. The massage chair was an added bonus

Excellent stay for a night. Nice aesthetics. Stayed in the Annex building which is across the street and 50 m from the main property. Value for money, with very good amenities and flexibility. Nice private Onsen baths (indoor and on-roof open air) and massage chair, no additional charges or advance booking required. Instructions were clear and had minimal interaction with staff. Town vibe is also nice.

“The perfect place to stay and visit Kamikochi”

The ryokan was incredibly clean, and our room was very cosy and quiet. Upon arrival, the staff explained the rules, which I think is great, as it ensures everyone has a pleasant stay. It is located 3 minutes from the bus stop and very close to Kamikochi (20 minutes by bus), which is very convenient for visiting the area, as Kamikochi is very touristy and expensive, and here it is more pleasant and economical. It has three baths (Ofuro) one of which is a magnificent outdoor bath. There is also a shared kitchen with a fridge, coffee and tea. The village is small but has a delicious ramen restaurant and other shops where you can buy gifts, ice cream, etc. There is no Seven Eleven. There is a foot bath very close by.
