“Convenient and comfortable”
A basic but comfortable small apartment in a convenient location. Beds were comfy and it was roomy enough for the two of us. We did find it odd there wasn’t a kettle, so had to use the microwave to boil water for tea and coffee. Other kitchen supplies were very basic but we didn’t attempt to cook anything. Good location to walk into the old part of town and to the morning markets, and less than 10 minutes to the station.

Location is excellent. It is near to the main attractions and station. Easy access to food, shopping and the river which was great. Spacious layout and full kitchen provided.

“Lovely old town in the hills (Takeyama has 2,000ft elevation)”
The location was in the city and the apartment-hotel was walking distance to the old town Sanmachi suji, and the morning market. It was great exploring the many lanes of old houses, getting to sample sake and the eateries

“Impressed from the very first time”
I really appreciate the thoughtfulness of the owner and all the staff. The accommodation is exceptionally clean and fully equipped. The owner provided guidance every step of the way and was attentive from the moment of booking until check-out. It made me feel truly impressed, and I would definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

“Cutest city, and cutest flat.”
To put it simply, we wished all of our hotels during our Japan tour was like this hotel. I would come back any time I am in Takayama. This is a yes from me. Exactly as in the pictures, and exactly as comfortable as we thought it would be.

“Unexpected stay gem”
Walking distance from the takayama station and takayama old town. The bed were comfy, the room space were enough for us three. Love that it have split toilet & bathroom. The host were helpful. Definitely be our option of staying for our next time here again.
