Friendly and helpful staff. The private onsen was amazing. The 4 person room was lovely. The futon beds are hard for non-Japanese, but staff got us extra mattresses.

The ability to access a private onsen was fantastic. The staff were very helpful. There are shared bathrooms on each floor, split into male and female. They were clean. Japanese rooms means sleeping on thin tatami mats, but the provided ones were fairly comfortable. The room is huge. The price was very fair. Overall I'd be happy to stay here again to visit Kamikochi.

Close to the bus terminal which takes one to Kamikochi, Matsumoto, etc. The restaurants and convenience stores are all within 5-10 mins walk. The property’s onsen facility is basic but private.

The staff are friendly and helpful. They were able to advise on most of the transport and go to places questions. Went the extra miles of cooking out dumplings when we realised we bought a pack that required to pan fried.

Nice large tatami rooms. We enjoyed the private onsen. Staff were friendly and helpful. It's slightly on the older side but still beautiful. We wish the garden pond was functioning next to the lobby as we spent a bit of time in the lobby.

It was just great! The hotel is very cosy. Friendly staff. The room is big with a beautiful view on the mountains. The onsens are a dream. We were very happy!

Very helpful staff

Great onsen experience. The staff was exceptionally kind, they even sent to Tokyo one item I forgot in the hotel via mail. I would recommend 100%.

The outdoor private onsen was divine! For the price a wonderful onsen option.

This was the second time I've stayed here, the first being March 2025! Great location, wonderfully calm atmosphere, several excellent private onsens and large traditional Japanese rooms.
