Free parking

A great spot on the outskirts of Takayama. It’s a little walk (around 20 minutes) from the centre but there are buses you can get and the hotel offers a free shuttle to the bus station when you check out which was so so appreciated! The hotel itself is super clean and comfortable. There is a big kitchen if you want to cook and the showers were great too. There’s also a washer and dryer if needed during your stay. I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting!

“Lovely stay”

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. It has good facilities, nice shower and the owner was lovely. The shuttle run to the station in the morning was handy too,

The guest house is in walking distance to Hyda no sato, very comfortable for thE visit in the morning.

Nice facility with a beautiful view and good parking. Reasonable prices and walking distance to Hida Folk Village. Good kitchen and outdoor dining area. Privacy curtains on the bunks.

The host was so kind, he even provides his own "shuttle-service" to the train station each morning. Otherwise, it is a nice, quiet Hostel, which has everything you need. While there were not many people there when I was staying, I can imagine this being a good place to meet people while traveling.

Very clean environment and kind people. I could borrow a umbrella for free, saved my day.

“Cozy stay”

Room was quiet and cosy, and friendly staff who made sure we got a discount voucher for Hida Museum. They have 4 free shuttle rides in the morning to the bus station too which is great and saves a long walk! Also provides a map with some good recommendations.

Friendly staff, comfortable beds, nice and clean showers, free lockers for valuables, seating area for relaxing, fending machine in the lobby for refreshments :) They even offer a free shuttle bus to the station early in the morning! We used it to get to Kamikochi valley early, and we had a great day hike there!

“Fun, cosy and clean!”

Really cosy! Shampoo, conditioner and body wash included but bath towels are 100¥ to rent, also very cheap bike rentals at 800¥ for 12h! Super nice and polite workers, they also try their best to speak English knowing that we’re foreigners. Changed the bin regularly, once a day. Everything was always clean, women’s bathroom was amazing!! Super comfortable bed, AC and heater/fan has English signs to make it easier for use. Nice area away from the main city, but up a hill and since it’s far from the city, it’s a bit tedious to get to and from. In the morning, they have a free shuttle (mini van driven by the workers!) every 45 minutes from 7:15 to 9:30 (AM) which is really appreciated 🤗

Very central, facilities were all good and clean. The room had AC, a kerosene heater AND heated blankets (which were an absolute godsend in this cold!!) Had a really good, comfortable stay, thank you!
