Just a 2-minute walk from Takayama Station, Oyado Koto No Yume offers Japanese-style rooms with a colourful touch. “Wonderful stay in a beautiful ryokan.”
The staff were absolutely wonderful. They could not have been kinder or more helpful. The ryokan was very well situated, beautifully appointed and extremely comfortable. Wonderful onsen too, with the option of a private bath (for a fee) if required. We really enjoyed our 2 nights here and could have stayed for longer! Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so memorable.

“Amazing Japanese experience”
We loved our stay - from the choice of yukata and scent for the room to the traditional breakfast and amazing staff, the tatamies and futons and the onsen. It was a complete Japanese experience.

“Amazing hospitality in a fantastic location.”
The staff really went above and beyond for us, every interaction was just amazing and we felt so well looked after! The location is fantastic with a huge variety of restaurants and sights just minutes walk away. The breakfast was excellent each morning. Above all I slept like a log each night on the comfortable bed, in a dark quiet room. Parking was available at the property itself too.

Loved our stay at this Ryokan The staff is very friendly and helpful and they speak English well. Breakfast was excellent , rooms spacious and we had the best sleep of our trip. Centrally located for walking to station sights and restaurants.
