Overview
Breathing a traditional Japanese atmosphere, Onyado Hisui features natural hot spring baths, traditional dining and Japanese-style rooms. It houses a souvenir shop and drink vending machines on site. The property is a 90-minute bus ride away from JR Takayama Train Station. Rooms feature tatami (woven straw) floors, Japanese futon beds and sliding paper doors that lead to a seating area. Amenities include a TV, a fridge, yukata robes and complimentary green tea. Guests can leisurely unwind in one of the public hot spring baths, or reserve one for private use. The hotel offers a free pick-up from the Fukuchi Onsen Guchi bus stop. Free WiFi is available in the lobby area. Hisui Onyado prepares a Japanese breakfast and a multi-course dinner with local seasonal dishes. Meals are served in a private dining room. The Onyado Hisui Hotel is a 3-minute drive from Okuhida Bear Farm, and a 10-minute drive from Hirayu Forest. Scenic mountain resort Kamikochi is a 40-minute drive away.

“Perfect for anyone looking for a traditional Japanese experience.”
A lovely, family-style place to stay! We arrived on a super rainy day, got a bit lost, and got off at the wrong station, but the hosts came right away to pick us up. The service was awesome and friendly, and the food was delicious and thoughtful. Perfect for anyone looking for a traditional Japanese experience. Highly recommend!

The breakfast is quite nice. The staff was helpful in providing the information on how we could take the bus to Kamikochi. We rented a car so we just drove to bus terminal. If you are taking public transportation, this hotel may not be a good choice as you will need to take a bus to the bus terminal to take the bus to Kamikochi.

Breakfast was great and very helpful owners. The onsen offered has ability for private use with very little fuss about booking. Would highly recommend!
