“Lovely stay in Takayama”
Great Japanese style hotel in Takayama, the breakfast was very good and it has a good lounge area with free coffee, tea and water. There’s a lovely Japanese garden with private onsen available to use upon reservation

What a wonderful surprise this place was. The staff, the breakfast, the small private onsen you can easily book. Easy walk to all parts of Takayama. This is my 3rd visit to Takayama and I would try and stay here again.

“I was afraid that due to some bad reviews high price will not be justified, at the end we were wery satisfied.”
Overall stay was great. I liked reception guy, very kind and helpful, i liked that at breakfast lady's were dressed in traditional clothes, great breakfast (mix of local and western). Perfect garden and onsen. You reserve your slot and you are alone. The most I liked yucata robe (cotton kimono), very beautiful 🤩 Nice detail👍

“While it's good, not worth the price”
Great location, the onsen was very good and the interior garden was wonderful. There was also complimentary breakfast and kitchen facilities that were well put together

“Made exploring Takayama easy with a comfortable bed to come back to.”
Close to the station and easy to find. Staff were attentive and helpful. Breakfast was good both Japanese and western. The onsen was private and very pleasant , lovely water.

“Comfortable Stay”
The hotel is within walking distance of the station and town center with comfy beds and very hospitable staff. The free onsen was the cherry on top.

“Wonderful, pleasant and peaceful stay at Takayama”
The service at this hotel was excellent. The staff were very friendly, spoke English well, and were always willing to help the guests with anything they needed. The rooms were very comfortable and well maintained, making the stay very pleasant. In addition, the hotel is very well located, which made it easy to get around and explore the area. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend staying here. 😊pd: the breakfast was very good!

“Great choice for a stay in Takayama”
This is a very clean, quiet hotel located an easy walk from the station. It has an excellent (free) natural hot water onsen. The manager is very welcoming. The breakfast is excellent and they prepared a breakfast bento box for us on our last morning when we had to leave at 7am.
