The property is situated in a quiet neighbourhood in Takayama, an 8-minute walk from JR Takayama Station. Hida Minzoku Mura Folk Village is 2 km away. “Great Takayama Stay”
The location was great and near the station and bus stand. Most of the tourist spots were walkable. The bathroom and room were spotless and really clean. The host was very friendly to us and helped us with the restaurants and great spots to visit. We had a great time here overall.

“this hostel was the best”
Takayama was a beautiful town and this hostel was the perfect place to stay. The host was extremely kind, we arrived slightly clueless and unprepared and he talked us through the whole area and helped plan our 3 days in takayama all the recommendations he gave us were fantastic. On top of this the hostel is in a great location, the room was really cosy with aircon, wifi, comfy beds, quiet side street, spacious shared space. Everything was perfect.

Taku was very warm and helpful, taking time to share helpful information with us about places to go to and eat in around Takayama. He was very approachable and was always ready to help. The hostel itself was also amazing. Very close to the station, very comfortable room and super clean.

The host was lovely, very welcoming and helpful. He also spoke English, which made it very easy to converse with him. Great property too, there’s only two hostel rooms available, so it was quiet, gave us undisturbed privacy and easy access to the bathroom and shower.
