Located just a 1-minute walk from Hirayu Bus Terminal, Japanese inn Hiratakan offers cosy traditional-style rooms with free WiFi access, fine dining and spacious public baths with natural hot spring water, both indoors and outdoors. staff was very welcoming and nice, ready to answer any questions we had :) is a traditional and old hotel thats very well maintained. the room was clean, organised and staff also came to clean the room, replaced the towels and onsen clothes as well! accoms near convenience store, restaurants and bus stop to kamikochi too, very convenient.

It is very close to the bus terminal which is convenient if you intend to take the bus to kamakochi. The half board meals are good and scrumptious.

5-6min walk to bus terminal, spacious room and our futon beds were made up and ready as we arrived late. Convenient location to visit Kamikochi.

Good, a little rusty but still well kept place just a few steps from the bus terminal. Very quiet and serene. I really enjoyed the onsen. I really recommend it over more popular places in Hirayu if you value calm atmosphere.

“The kindness of the hosts is the highlight of our stay”
The room was spacious and the atmosphere was relaxing. Breakfast and Kaiseki dinner were absolutely amazing and hearthy, with many local products and a different menu for our second day.
