This hotel is in a great location beside Takayama Station; we arrived by coach from Kanazawa via Shirakawago and it was a short walk from the bus parking lot behind the station. The old town area of Takayama is a short walk from the hotel with lots of shops, cafes and restaurants. The room was very spacious and open with two huge double beds and a tatami area with beanbags. I absolutely loved the deep round bath while my mum was in heaven sitting out on the balcony; both had a stunning view of the mountains. We only stayed for two nights and we would have liked a third as it was so relaxing and spacious. The bath/shower room is quite exposed with floor to ceiling windows; there are blinds that can be raised and lowered and I don't think anyone can really see you but I still wore a swimsuit into the bath so I could enjoy the view without worrying. You can also open a window on the balcony side to talk to someone sitting out there while relaxing in the bath! The breakfast provided is a choice between three options which you are asked to make at check in/in advance of the next morning; we both got the granola and yogurt which was very good and a coffee is also provided but just be aware there is no buffet. The reception area is also a cafe and it can be busy at times but the staff are friendly and the seating is very comfortable with outlets to plug in a laptop etc. We were able to borrow an adaptor from the front desk as my mum forgot hers and we saw umbrellas available to borrow too. Check out was very easy via a screen.

Great hotel with nice views from the top floor! My only suggestion would be to include a guide on how to make the traditional beds, no big deal but we had to watch a YouTube video.

Our room was very big which was super convenient for our 4 nights stay, View was also great. Room was modern. Location was excellent by the train station and 7 mins walk to the old town. The coffee shop at the end trace that made cappuccino.

Location to the bus and train station, it is very close, less than 5 min. walking. Hotel provides umbrella if it is raining outside. The room size is good.

The hotel is an easy 5 minute walk from the train station and is very clean and modern, with a fantastic location. The area felt safe to walk around and it’s within easy walking distance of restaurants and the town centre. The room was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate two adults with two large suitcases, and having a lift in the hotel was a great bonus. Would definitely stay again

The room was spacious for a family of 5 and the beds comfortable. Very clean too. Loved the proximity to the train and bus station while still only a 10 minute walk to the centre of the town.

The room was awesome, perfect space for our family of four to spread out and enjoy evenings together. We booked the room with bunk beds and a lounge area. So comfortable and clean. The usb chargers at the bedside and bedside lighting controls are very convenient and the beds and pillows are comfortable. The toilet is separate from the bathroom which helps with sharing a room between 4 ppl. The balcony space was peaceful and very clean. The location is great, right next to Takayama station and the main bus stop. Also halfway point between hida folk village and Sanmachi Suji. We are enthusiastic walkers so could walk everywhere from FAV. There is also a coin laundry on 2nd floor with 3 machines. 600 yen for a wash and dry in 2 hours. So easy to check in, there is luggage storage outside of check in times and we could also borrow board games.
