The location of the hotel, is just a few minutes walk from the train station. The hotel has a modern feel, it is beautifully presented. Breakfast was served in the Cafe below the hotel. It was beautifully presented, with a range of choices that were prepared to order. I would definitely stay again

“Lovely place to stay while visiting Takayama”
eph TAKAYAMA was a lovely hotel. The room was spacious for a Japanese hotel and came with basic amenities, but more than enough for a comfortable night’s stay. The toiletries provided were excellent and among the best we experienced during our trip around Japan. The location was great, close to the station while also within easy reach of the main areas, making it very convenient for exploring. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. On the morning of checkout, we had not pre-booked breakfast in the small café attached to the hotel. Despite being busy, they went above and beyond to accommodate us and find a table. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location, easy walking distance to all main tourist areas, rooms are modern and spotless, area is quiet in the evening. Good range of places to eat and drink nearby. Friendly staff and good western style coffee shop.

Conveniently close to the train and bus stations. Super comfy beds and we had the best sleep here because we could lower the room temperature sufficiently for sleeping. Great cafe within the building for breakfast and lunch.
