The hotel feels a little dated but the staff is very friendly and the view of lake Biwa is fabulous. Rooms are spacious and the breakfast is good.

For Japanese standard a huge room with view on the lake, in early morning unplayable. Best room I had so far. Stuff was amazing, helpful and very communicative in a positive way. Always would come back what an amazing nature region. Phantastic

“Although a bit old, still a nice place to stay right near the lake.”
Location right at the lake. Near the ski resorts, the staff was friendly and helpful despite the language barrier. Vending machines and microwave in every floor was a nice feature.

Very rigid. My booking was without meal included. And I was hungry and asked whether they could simply charge me for that. But the staff refused me. Please understand your hotel should try to be flexible to charge for the meal, to cater for guest's need. 🙏

Location next to Lake Biwa and it is not too expensive. It offer free parking. Room is clean and with lake view.

Very clean and well equiped room. Great views of the lake You can ride to Makino pic land with their rental bike. And there's a delicious indian food open for dinner nearby.

“Pleasant enough stay for 1 night but could make outside area much nicer”
Location was pleasant on the waterfront . Beds were comfortable and staff did try to help ( with google translate ). Coin laundry available on site

The location is nice - off the beaten track and accessible only to those who really look for it. There is a bus from the location but we were driving. Just before the Japanese summer busy season and a weekday saw us as one of only a few patrons. We had the dinner and breakfast - great for us as we love all types of Japanese food but if you aren’t so adventurous this would be best to miss. Limited food options nearby.

Beautiful view of the lake from our room. Quiet, restful location. Very helpful staff, good breakfasts and shuttle bus to train. Comfortable room with lots of space.
