“Comfy~”
The place is close to the station, and at night lots of places to eat around, so you won't have to be worried about that. The room is clean, air conditioning works well, and the bed is comfy, it's worth the money staying here.

“Good place to stay with good restaurants nearby and not to far from some good mountain walks.”
The price was low and had a free breakfast which had a good selection but you have to get there early as some items run out. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed and bathroom were clean and even though I was in a smoking room there was no stale smell of tobacco.

Less than 10 minutes walking distance from railway station. Strong wifi, good complimentary breakfast, clean, washing machines and dryers. Even though I booked "smoking room" as a non-smoker, I did not feel any smoke anywhere inside of the room or anywhere in the hotel. Inexpensive.

“Value for money.”
The staff were very kind. I received a very beautiful Mt. Fuji 3D Post Card from them. I liked the breakfast, that there is parking and the location too. Takasaki Station is a 9-minute walk away.

Great location a short walk from the station, very helpful staff who were attentive and kind. The lady at Reception helped me to book a taxi for the next morning. The shower pressure and temperature were really good! I requested no cleaning for one day, so they left a basket with fresh towels, snacks, Yukata outside my room instead which was nice.

The location was excellent for travel by train, as it was a short distance from the train station and just off the main road leading from the station. Friendly staff and very helpful. Comfortable japanese style room.

The check in was very quick and easy, no ID was required and the check in staff was kind. I think the previous reviews I read are a little harsh, it is an old/outdated hotel but the location and the cleanliness is actually quite good.
