Boasting natural hot spring baths, Hotel Wakamizu is located just a 5-minute walk from Takarazuka Train Station on JR and Hankyu lines. Free WiFi is available in the public area and in some rooms. We love our room, the view especially at night time, amazing onsen, all the details like hair treatment oils, face treatment creams, massage chairs and many more… Don’t miss the breakfasts! Only 5min walk from public transportation. Highly recommended 🩷

“Relaxing hotel on the outskirts of Osaka”
Private bath was convenient and comfortable. Food in the restaurant was delicious. Car park conveniently in the building.

The room, the view and obviously the onsen. What a treat! The outdoor onsen had roses floating in it. Ample products available. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a lovely experience.

“Rare single rooms at an Onsen Ryokan”
I am happy to find this deal. Whereas most of Onsen Ryokan only has twin and family rooms, this hotel has a few single rooms, which allows a solo traveller to enjoy proper Onsen at a reasonable price. The hotel is just a few minutes walk from Takarazuka station.

“A great recharge of the batteries with wonderful staff”
Unfortunately this was a very small onsen town that most people wouldn't visit but because of that the staff were incredible as they weren't used to non japanese tourists. They bent over backwards to help us and inform us of how things work. The room had a large window overlooking the river and it was very zen watching the sunset. The private onsen was wonderful and i couldn't recommend the experience enough. If you want to get off the beaten track i would recommend this place as a great reset after a hectic japanese schedule.

Wakamizu Hotel is my favourite place to stay in Takarazuka. It is perfectly located between the station and the Grand Theatre and has very comfortable rooms and a most friendly and helpful staff, always ready to help me out with any request. The Japanese rooms are very spacious and offer river views and a traditional Japanese atmosphere, with delicious food; the Western-style rooms are smaller but equally comfortable and a great value for money.
