Clean, comfortable, quiet and very private since we were the only ones there during our stay. Easy access to eateries nearby with car. Gifted with home baked chiffon cakes from owner, it was the superb!! Host Shinya san was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

The host was very accommodating. Very quiet place to get a peaceful rest.

“A pleasant stay”

We arrived quite late and Shinya was so kind to wait for us & greet us during our arrival and gave us a box of his mom homemade chiffon cake. The instruction given in the message was clear and easy for check in. The kitchen cottage was the best place for our chit chat session during our stay. He came by during our check out and was very helpful to provide us the information of the places to visit. Highly recommended & Thanks Shinya

We had an enjoyable, comfortable and pleasant stay at Cotton Club Cottage. Shinya-San was very warm and helpful, and his mother even baked a cake for us! Location was also great for sightseeing around the area. Highly recommend!

Lovely, quiet, cosy, clean, comfortable, private country home stay. Shinya, friendly & lovely host was there when we do check in & taking care everything for us. Next morning, he brought us his mom homemade delicious chiffon cake (made using rice flour - yummy) & premium drip coffee for our breakfast. Good location - Mt. Aso, Kamishikimi Kumanoimasu Shrine, Takachiho.

• The location is good, there are so many good Sakura spots nearby, and it’s also close to the ASO mountain. People can enjoy the great pure countryside and relax. • The room is a wooden cabin which is big and clean, the host just renew the laboratory and shower room. •There is a shared kitchen, people can buying stuff from a supermarket which is close and cook by yourself.

Such an amazing place with an excellent view of the mountain range. It's in a lovely quiet area that is still close to a lot of the main tourist areas if you are driving. Plenty of facilities that help you make it into a little home away from home and the host was so friendly and helpful. Would definitely be staying here again and bringing the family as it is big enough for many people to stay.

I am very happy with our stay at Cotton Club Cottage. Check-in was easy with the automated setup and Cotton had sent some instructions through Booking.com. The cottage is nice and comfortable, with plenty of space. The Google Maps link with some recommendations around the area was helpful too. We dropped our used towels in the morning at the reception area and everyday there was a note and/or small gift left by Cotton. The chiffon cakes and fruits were very tasty. Enjoyed meeting Cotton on the day we were leaving. Location is excellent. A car is important to go around the Aso area anyway. Cotton Club Cottage was in the middle of everything we wanted to visit.
