Overview
Nestled in the corner of Hamadera Park, right next to Osaka Bay, Osaka International Youth Hostel offers public baths, barbecue facilities, and free WiFi access at public areas. JR Higashihagoromo Train Station is a 15-minute walk from the hostel. The property offers both private rooms and dormitory rooms. All rooms are air conditioned and come with an alarm clock and slippers. A few rooms come with a private bathroom, while others share bathroom facilities. At International Youth Hostel Osaka guests can prepare their own meals using the shared kitchen, relax in the shared lounge, or use the free luggage storage service. Other facilities offered on site include vending machines, lockers and a coin launderette. At a surcharge, guests can also use gymnasium. Tsutenkaku Tower is a 30-minute train ride away, while Abeno Harukasu and Tennoji Zoo are a 40-minute train ride from the property. “reasonable choice out of Osaka city”
The building is so beautiful, located in a vast park by the river. The staff work until 11pm so check-in is very easy. Infos of many activities can be found in the lobby. Canteen is comfortable with free hot or cold drinks. There seems no convenient store nearby but indeed you can find a huge supermarkert with 5 mins walk. Overall it is a good option when you can't find any hostel in Osaka city. Note: Mirror equipped in the dorm is good.
