“A convenient stay to see the gorge”
This was an overnight stay to see the gorge. Location was fine as we had a car, and the parking was free. Sleeping was on traditional futons. The shared bathrooms were clean and not busy. Would recommend if you're happy with shared bathroom facilities.

The room was airy, sunny and calm. The guesthouse is in a quiet area, not too far from the gorges and temple. There is tea and coffee available after 16h30 and before 09h00. The owners are friendly, the place is clean. Bedding is warm and there's a heater in the room.

“A delightful guest house close to everything in Takachiho”
A guest house run by lovely people who know the area well and are multilingual. My room had great wifi, a fridge and complimentary towels for use. The building is very well situated, located just a 2-3 minute walk from the bus station, and about a 10 minute walk from the Takachiho shrine, which itself is a few minutes walk from Takachiho Gorge. If you are travelling by public transport to Takachiho, this is incredible value and comfort for your trip.

“Very friendly owner, welcoming atmosphere, great location”
Very friendly owner who gave us a superb recommendation for dinner based on our preferences. The room was comfortable and perfectly clean and we all slept very well - no noise at night. The location is also very nice since you are in walking distance to Takachiho Shrine where you can see the nightly Kagura performance which is definitely a unique opportunity. 100% recommend this guesthouse :)

Great location, friendly owner, delicious dinner recommendation. Our first experience in a guesthouse and was fun. We liked the drawings on the walls and the manga. Car park right outside.

Lovely owners. Obliging and keen to make guests enjoy their stay. Very clean rooms and a good size. Can ask for extra pillow or futon if needed. Shared bathrooms but spotless. Good location to walk to restaurants and temple. Would highly recommend

“Great stay for a couple of nights”
Really friendly staff and easy check in. Towels (small) and toothbrushes replaced daily. Great location, free parking. Free drip coffee, water and good nails in community kitchen. Overall quite clean.

“Great guesthouse! Everything perfect!”
The guest house was superb! The owners were super friendly and welcoming. The guest house and room and everything was super clean and comfortable. The room was massive! So good! They have private parking which is great too! The location is really good! You can walk to the gorge or drive (I'd recommend the free parking at the gorge). Honestly highly recommend it! And we're definitely coming back again ❤️
