Great house with a history! Lovely location, very nice and clean room and comfy beds. Great sauna! Douglas is very friendly, we had a great chat, he was very informative and made us feel at home. The common area is well equipped.

“Authentic countryside stay with great sauna, but best for short visits”
Beautifully renovated old log schoolhouse with lots of charm and antique décor. Owners were very welcoming and friendly. The wood-fired sauna was a great experience, and the location was peaceful and scenic.

“An amazing accommodation experience in the middle of a peaceful archipelago countryside”
Probably the best accommodation experience in years. It was simply amazing to arrive at this place after a day of cycling and find coziness, aesthetics, and comfort in every detail, along with a sense of history in the old school building. We were able to enjoy the sauna, and everything needed for a comfortable stay was provided. Jenni and Doug have been amazing hosts and such wonderful people to meet. We hope more travelers will discover this hidden gem!

“A lovely overnight stay in a spacious room with access to a sauna and to laundry facilities.”
This was a very convenient location for an overnight stop to catch the nearby ferry in the morning. The room was very spacious and having a washing machine available (with detergent) was a huge bonus. There were some basics for breakfast (even though it was a room-only booking). Welcoming hosts made the sauna ready at a convenient time. A a bonus I had the kitchen and shower room to myself as there were no other guests.

“Peaceful place to stay and to relax”
Very nice and charming house. Beautiful decoration. Lovely hosts. Room is spacious! Area is calm and peaceful. Ask for the Sauna to be used - a must do when visiting ! And take time to meet the hosts and other guests - you will love it…..

“Historic building accommodation with best Finnish sauna experience yet!”
The sauna experience here is excellent. The place is quiet and peaceful and the owners have done a great job renovating around the constraints of the old school house building. The property is close to a local restaurant that has great food.

“Very nice high quality B&B.”
It's a very nicely renovated old school building with charming rooms. It was super clean everywhere. Every small detail was done nicely, from bathroom supplies to kitchen necessities. The sauna is an experience and also very nicely done.

“Relaxed and excellent stay in a lovely, nicely renovated school house!”
Everything was so perfect! Couple owning this place is so lovely and they did everything to make us feel relaxed and even changed the heating time of the sauna for us. Amazing. We really enjoyed the place and can warmly recommend this one for everybody visiting in the hoods!

we spent a great sporting holiday on bikes, the Little Red School House was like a home base for us, from where we started our adventures every morning, well-rested. The location is excellent, we recommend it to all cyclists.
