Hostel Blue House Taghazout is a great place for a long stay. Reina and her husband run the hostel and create a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. It really feels like staying with a Moroccan family. They also prepare very tasty breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. The hostel has two terraces—one covered and one open—with amazing views over Taghazout. Just keep in mind that if you want to enjoy some of the best views in Taghazout, you’ll need to climb a few steps to get there… but as they say, no pain, no gain! 😄 This is definitely not a party hostel, which makes it perfect if you’re looking for a calm and relaxed environment. I stayed in an 8-bed dorm; the linen was very clean and all the facilities were well maintained. There is also a very convenient and well-equipped kitchen. The Wi-Fi works well, and the showers have really hot water. If you speak Spanish, communication will be very easy. Otherwise, it’s helpful to use a translation app on your phone, as they mainly speak Spanish and Arabic. No doubt that if I come back to Taghazout, I will stay at Reina’s place again!

Very well kept, facilities were very clean and good quality fittings and fixtures, mattress and pillow very comfortable, clearly a lot of effort went in to making it comfortable for guests. Please note this is not a party style hostel, more like someones home. A lot of emphasis is placed on keeping the place clean, but with a bit of respect is easily achieved. Breakfast was delicious for €5, everything was homemade and the best we had during our week long stay in Morocco. Hosts speak Spanish. Quiet part of town, much easier to sleep than some more central hostels. Great value.

We liked the view from the rooftop, the bed and duvet was comfortable and the hike to the top of the stairs was fun. The hosts were also friendly.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, everything was very clean, the place felt cosy. Great view from the roof top, breakfast was delicious and big window in the dorm room for good ventilation. All round great value for money, my favourite place to stay in Taghazout:) also very convenient location for the town.

“Great Hostel with an amazing view and a very friendly host!”

The host, Rayna, wrote me up right after I booked my room to offer assistance on getting to the hostel (months before my stay) so I booked a transfer from Agadir to the Hostel through her and when I arrived she was already waiting and gave me a tour and explained everything. :) The hostel is on the hill overlooking Taghazout and has a great view of the village, the beach and Agadir. The room that I have booked was on the top floor and was nice, clean and had a common balcony right in front where one could have breakfast or just relax. There is a rooftop terrace as well from where you can see all the surroundings and can also hang your clothes if choosing to use the washing service for example. Rayna was really welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout my stay, she was texting me everyday asking me if I need anything or if I want to book breakfast or dinner letting me know about all the special meals she was preparing and also informing me if she was leaving. :) Everything was great and I would definitely be back here again!

“Best place in Taghazout”

This place was just perfect — exactly what I was looking for: charming and peaceful. First of all, the owners are a lovely couple, incredibly kind and helpful. My room was spotless, spacious and very comfortable. I had my own private bathroom, but they also have beautiful shared rooms if needed. They serve delicious breakfast and meals, which you can enjoy on the lovely terrace. There’s also a rooftop where I loved doing my morning stretch and watching the sunset. The location is ideal — right in the center and only 5 minutes from the beach. Honestly, it’s the best value I found in town. I’m already planning to come back!

The hostel has some good points. The staff were helpful whenever needed and always quick to respond on WhatsApp. The view of the shared balcony is really beautiful and definitely a highlight.

Taghazout is a great place to relax and enjoy your day this accommodation is amazing location is awesome you have an amazing view of the sea (especially the rooftop 🤌🏾✅) it is not far away by foot the hosts are very kind-hearted and organised they'll make sure you have a nice day their home food is delicious.
