We booked a family room (4 adults, 1child) in this hotel thru booking.com and paid online. When we arrived, we received the most unwelcomely welcome we had ever received, the staff just showed us a bond paper using a mobile number and told us to call it before they would open the door. We called the number, and the person on the other line told us that the payment they received is just good for a room that is good for 1-2person because accordingly booking.com deducted portion of the payment — which is what most the booking apps do. They were expecting us and they got our number or they can message earlier about it, but they choose to tell us about it when we arrived —all tired from a long travel with our senior citizen parents and a kid. They don't even offer any solution at all. They have a lot of vacant rooms , I even overheard the instruction to the staff to not show us the family room. We ended up booking another place. We did not even got a refund.
