Great location for a walking holiday with lots to see locally plus numerous and very varied trails directly accessible from the property. Excellent instructions, communication and tips from the host. Generously stocked fridge. Very well equipped kitchen for self catering. Close to the local shop and a nice bar.

“A hidden gem with stunning views”

The villa is a reconstructed village house, which looks tiny from outside, but is deceptively spacious, as it hugs the mountain-side on two levels. The living area opens onto a large terrace with breath-taking views across the valley and down to the sea. The hosts could not have been more efficient and welcoming. Taganana is a stunning hamlet which retains its authenticity. We enjoyed great food at La Ola, down by the beach and Las Nueves in the village square. Casa Picar is also recommended. A great base for hikes from the front door. We did Las Vueltas de Taganana, a strenuous but stunning 5 hour hike, which was a door to door loop up the mountainside and through the terraces which are covered with vineyards and a variety of crops. A nature-lovers paradise!

The house is cozy, really well maintained, in a wonderful little street in the village. The views from the terrace are superb and the house is so well equipped with all amenities that one feels at home at once. One can start on several great hiking trails literally from the doorstep!
