“Wonderful guesthouse in the heart of Morocco”

Tafraoute was described to us as being the 'real Morocco' away from other more visited areas. It didn't disappoint and our stay at Maison Tigmi Ozro added to the sense of being somewhere entirely authentic. This was the least expensive accommodation we stayed in and the welcome was every bit as warm, the bed as comfortable and the breakfast as delicious as all of the others. It was the perfect place for exploring the Anti-Atlas and we would have happily stayed for longer. Next time!

“So welcoming and homey!”

Breakfast was very good - only because I am a celiac and can’t eat wheat, for me it was limited. But good service, loved the record player in the breakfast room. Bedroom was very nicely decorated, felt cosy. The host was there to welcome us and gave us a sweet little tea service on the rooftop.

Everything - v beautifully kept house and rooms, rooftop was amazing, food delicious, and really friendly atmosphere. By far the best accomodation we had stayed in over 2 weeks in Morocco.

Bushra and Dominique were fantastic hosts. Very friendly and willing to help us in any way to make our stay more comfortable.

We absolutely loved our stay here and the photos don't do it justice! We were greeted with Moroccan tea on the beautiful roof terrace. The room was comfortable and clean, electric shutters on the windows and a comfy bed. Very quiet and peaceful at night as away from any traffic noise The location is fantastic with some epic views of the surrounding rocks and easy walking distance to the centre of Tata. Breakfast was typical Moroccan style: pancakes, bread, jams, honey, juice and egg but was the best breakfast we've had in Morocco so far. Would highly recommend staying here and would certainly stay here again.

Beautiful quiet location with lovely views from the fab terrace. Comfortable room and garden. Breakfast on the terrace or in her lovely kitchen when too windy! Bushra was an exceptional host - lending us her best mugs for English tea, advising us if walks and lending us a book and even washing the car after a dust storm.

Comfy beds, friendly and approachable staff. Breakfast was excellent and prepared for us every morning, some good music to add to the ambiance too. Located a short walk from everything in town too. We'd come back here in a heartbeat if we came back to Tafroute.
