Overview
Located in Tabanan Regency, along the southwest coast of Bali, Amarta Beach Retreat by Nakula is a beachfront boutique resort. The property is a 30-minute drive from the Butterfly Park. The resort is set among rice fields and features an outdoor pool, a restaurant and on site spa facilities. Incorporating Balinese traditional community designs, the spacious and air-conditioned bungalows feature a seating area, private bathroom with a hairdryer, cable TV and a minibar. There is also a balcony where guests can enjoy views of the ocean and the tropical garden. Enjoying great views of black-sandy beaches and Mount Batukaru in the distance, Amarta Beach Retreat is suitable for wedding celebrations and gatherings. The property operates a 24-hour front desk and the staff can assist with luggage storage, free parking and tour arrangements. The property is a 1-hour drive to the Jatiluwih Rice terraces, the UNESCO World Heritage Cultural Landscape. It is 47 km from Bali Denpasar International Airport.

“You can sleep very well and truly relax during the day. The nearest town is about 1 km away, so it’s best to have a car”
We had a spacious and comfortable bungalow with a cozy bed, offering a beautiful view that was partly of the garden and partly of the ocean. There were not many guests, which allowed us to feel at ease and never crowded, so we felt truly well taken care of. The staff were warm, smiling, and very helpful. If you felt that the portions at the hotel’s restaurant were a bit too small/ expensive , just around the corner—right by the main entrance from the road to the beach—you’ll find a lovely warung run by a local couple, serving delicious Balinese dishes with genuine care and hear and very good price.

“Best value for the money!!!”
What a pleasant surprise this hotel was!!! It was our first stop during our honeymoon. We booked it as it was slightly out of the way, not in the Denpasar busy area. You end up having a small villa for yourself, no shared walls with your room neighbours, and the living area/shower room are massive!!! We would definitely recommend 👌🏻

“Great hotel in a remote location”
Tranquil location, not crowded. The garden villa with its own swimming pool is amazing. Breakfast has lots of options and definitely recommend the group grill dinner at the Lily restaurant.
