Overview
Located 5 minutes’ drive from central Sysmä, these 2-floor cottages feature log interiors, private wood heated saunas and fully equipped kitchens. Swimming and fishing is possible at Lake Suojärvi. A large stone fireplace, seating area and flat-screen satellite TV are featured in living rooms at Tervalepikon Torpat. Each cottage has laundry facilities and a furnished terrace with barbecue facilities. There is a lakeside sauna that guests can book, and there is a rowing boat free to use on site. Bicycles, ski equipment and ice-skates can be rented on site. Hiking and cross-country skiing trails start directly at the property. Tervalepikon Torpat can gladly help arrange snowshoeing trips, ice fishing trips and ski courses. The nearest restaurant and grocery store are 7 km away. Jyväskylä city centre is 1.5 hours’ drive from the cottages. and Lahti is 90 km away.

Since we were two families with children, we rented a larger cottage. It was a very beautiful house, both inside and outside (the owner built it himself, which shows he is also a skilled builder). The house was spotlessly clean, and everything was thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail. The kitchen was well equipped, and the beautiful fireplace was the perfect place to sit together with the children. Not far from the house, there was a lovely lake where we were able to go boating. The nature in that area is simply breathtaking, and we gathered plenty of mushrooms. The hosts were extremely welcoming. I highly recommend this cottage and give it a 10/10 rating. We will definitely come back again.

everything - house, location, communication with the hosts. we took Villa B and it was great. loved small and clean lake right in our yard. Also bigger lake for fishing was at a short distance. And plenty of mushrooms to pick :)
