My stay at The Grand Hotel BD was very disappointing and did not meet my expectations at all. From the beginning, the overall experience was poor. The AC in the room was not working properly, which made the stay very uncomfortable, especially at night. The bathroom condition was not good and the cleanliness standard was below what I expected from a hotel like this. Hygiene should be a priority, but unfortunately it was not maintained properly. Another major problem was the Wi-Fi connection. It was very slow and sometimes not working at all, which created inconvenience during my stay. In addition, the food quality was not good and definitely not worth the price. I expected better taste and service, but it was disappointing. The facilities shown in the pictures did not match the real experience. The service was also not professional enough, and overall the environment did not feel comfortable or welcoming. Considering the price I paid, I expected a much higher standard. Unfortunately, I was not satisfied with my stay and I would not recommend this hotel to others. I hope the management improves their service, cleanliness, AC system, Wi-Fi quality, and food standards in the future.

I had a very disappointing experience with this hotel. I made a confirmed booking through Booking.com, but at the last minute, the hotel requested an advance payment to reconfirm the reservation. Instead of providing proper bank details, they insisted on payment via bKash, which is not standard practice for confirmed bookings. While I was already traveling and trying to arrange the payment, I was suddenly informed that all rooms were occupied and my booking could not be honored. This was extremely inconvenient and unprofessional. What made the situation worse is that the booking still showed as “upcoming” in the system, which is misleading for travelers. Overall, this reflects poor management and unreliable booking practices. I would strongly advise future guests to be cautious when booking this property.
