How clean and unique was

Great location in a beautiful old building. The rooms are small but comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. Lovely continental breakfast included.

The reception staff as always was excellent (this was our 3rd stay), very warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The room is stylishly furnished and very clean. The pastries in the included continental breakfast were delicious and fresh.

What a charming accommodation. We loved it from the moment we stepped in. Lovely room with a balcony. Comfortable bed. Complimentary breakfast was a bonus. So close to the central area but surprisingly very quiet. Only thing was that we didn't know where to get hot water during the night. Down at the kitchen!! Would love to come back for next trip to Syndey. Both my husband and I had a lovely retreat there! Thank you to the staff and we appreciate the Christian touch as we felt God's love there.

The staff kindly allowed us an early check in to save us storing multiple bags. This is a very pretty boutique hotel that has some beautiful features. Walking distance to Chatswood Train/Metro station. If travelling light and on a budget, this is fabulous option for accommodation.

The location; the price; the style and design of the building; room was clean and comfortable with beautiful towels, face washers and even a bath robe! We appreciated the complimentary bathroom items. Would have loved to stay for the included breakfast but sadly we had to leave before it was open.

I love the ambience of the room and all the accessories. The location is handy yet reasonable removed from the car dominated mess that Chatswood is. I haven't had a breakfast there yet. The staff were wonderful.

“Elegant and pleasing”

The water pressure for shower was better than expected. The room feels elegant. Everything I need is there. If I need something, it is there. My wife and I love the location because it is very close to the Church of Scientology. I like it because I don’t like high rise buildings

The room was nice with a smart TV, and a balcony. The hotel is also very central to Chatswood which Is why we picked it. The hotel accommodated us for a last minute booking at a very reasonable price.

Lovely heritage property, great decor, really clean, nice little balcony overlooking woods. Good location, 20 minute walk to train, trams and restaurants. Nice communal area to help yourself to tea, coffee and continental breakfast. Theresa on reception very helpful and good on local local advice, thanks.

“The Charrington is always our first choice for an overnight stay in Sydney, business or pleasure”

We always enjoy staying at the Charrington. It is luxurious without being pretentious and very well appointed and decorated with its art deco styling. Ease of booking and after hours access is fantastic and being able to park free of charge at the front door is an exceptional advantage. The breakfast was very ordinary and some healthy and wholemeal options would be preferred to the refined and processed ones on offer. Having the Nespresso machine in the room is excellent.
