Overview
The Mad Monkey Potts Point is located in the centre of Kings Cross, a few minutes' walk from the Royal Botanic Gardens and Sydney Opera House. Free Wi-Fi, kitchen, common area facilities to guests. Bed linens are included with limited housekeeping. The Mad Monkey Potts Point Hostel features large common areas including a TV room and an outdoor terrace. Every day there is a welcome meeting for new guests with social activities. Guests have access to a cosy reading area, a shared dining area with an oven and microwave and a communal laundry. Luggage storage are also available. Council parking for cars is available. It is a 5-minute walk from the famous giant 'Coca Cola' sign, Kings Cross train Station and bus stops. Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbor Bridge, Darling Harbor, the International Convention Center and Chinatown are all within 15 minutes' bus ride. Sydney International Airport is 9.5 km away. Please Note: Our reception is closed on the 25th December. You will not be able to check in or out on that date. Payment for all reservations made between 24th December & 2nd of January will be taken when the booking is made and are NON REFUNDABLE. If credit card is invalid or inefficient funds you have 72 hours to update your details otherwise your booking will be cancelled. We do not accept bookings of 8 or more people.

The staff were so nice and friendly when I arrived and throughout my stay and made me feel very welcome. Having a free dinner every night is a massive benefit to staying. The nightly events are really fun and a great way to meet people. They give you lots of free alcohol too before nights out. The room had everything I needed and all the common area spaces and bathrooms were clean. I can’t wait to come back again in the future!

Had such a great visit at Mad Monkey Potts Point! The staff were very friendly, especially Sam on front desk who helped me to check in and find my room. I found the facilities to be clean and tidy and I slept well in my bed. An added bonus was the free dinner every night! Great location and a great team.

Stayed at Mad Monkey Potts Point and loved it. Super social vibe, really friendly staff, and the free dinners are a huge bonus. They also run great events, so it’s easy to meet people. Definitely one of the most affordable and fun places to stay in Sydney!
